I found that if i cut down on the SA wash to once a day, it really cuts down ton the redness for me while still providing the same acne fighting effects...guess it's different strokes for different folks =D>

I have been on the regimen for like 10 days, and while I am getting less pimples, my face is hella red...I think it is from the neutrogena BP but I don't know...what would ha ppen if I just used the C&C blackhead clearing scrub? And if I used it just once a day? Would I still get results?

Hey guys, I have been reading up on this thread and decided to start this regimen about three days ago...a li9ttle background info, I have had mild-moderate PERSISTENT acne for the past 4 years and nothing else I have used has worked...I am doing this regimen with one slight modification, instead of the C+C 10% BP wash, I use the neutrogena clear pore 3.5% BP wash...I use the blackhead clearing scrub 2x a day, and the BP cleanser once @ night...I put about a dime size in my wet palms, and GENTLY

About a week ago I started getting red splotches on my face...it's not really pimples, but raised reddish areas that take about a weel to go away...I only wash my face with water 2X a day, and the only thing I can think of is I started taking this thing called dermacomplex, which has a lot of detoxing herbs in it (ie Vitex, dandelion root, red clover, burdock root)? Could this be the problem? Is this a side effect of detoxification?

Haven't posted in a while, but I've definitely been stopping by and reading ur posts...I totally stopped w/ the b5 which wasn't working and my derm put me on doxycycline, which is working like absolute s h i t i've been on the stuff for just about 2 months and while it cleared me up beautifully for like 3 weeks, it just made it worse after that...what I was wondering was, can I just STOP taking the antis w/ out getting an even bigger breakout? I am currently on 6 grams of b5 a day and my skin has been decent over the last few weeks or so, and yesterday my derm put me on 100 mg of doxycycline...should I stop the b5 for the antis or can I take them in conjunction w/ each other...I am afraid that they will interfere w/ each other's absorption. I just bought the neutrogena clear pore cleanser/mask system and I will be washing with it once a day...the thing is, can I use the eucerin moisturizer right after? Cuz I know Dan says not to combine BP and salicylic acid, which is an BHA, and there are AHAs in the moisturizer...will this overdry/irritate my face? THanks.

IT says it was specifically for acne, so i was really curious if I should try it over the daily renewing AHA moisturizer...

Thanks, I noticed u use the alpha hydrox oil free formula...how well does that work for u as a moisturizer? Did it make ur acne better? Do u have sensitive skin?

THis guy recommends using BP, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid all @ the same time, twice a day!! U have to use ice all over ur face as well...what is this guy nuts? If i did that i'd be lobster boy.
