  1. Thank you! I'm going to order the samples next week. Don't get paid until then! LOL. Glad to hear things are looking up!
  2. Why can't you take spiro? BCP works, but if you want to stop taking it you better have a contingency plan because your acne will come back! Well, I think I will try BCP first and yeah I know. Hopefully one day I'll grow out of acne. Are you using Dan's products again electric_feel or did you decide otherwise? Yeah, I read stories from people on this site who say they are 50 and still recovering from acne and acne scars it's really frightening! My older sister had acne as well, but B

  4. I wish I could take this, but I'm going to give BCP a try. I just hope they work!

  6. Thank you too! Appreciate the advice. I wish I would of done this when my breakouts started, but I never realized it was hormone related. I'm rly looking forward to this now. LIVEandLOVE your skin in your sig sounds alot like mine. Thanks again!!
  7. Well darn! Hopefully there is more than Yaz that can help. You can get insurance through school? I never knew that. I'm currently attending college and hmmm I wonder? Awww I'm sorry about the insurance. I wish you all the best with that dear. Thanks again for the posts, appreciate it!
  8. Thank you very much. Made me feel better. I as well do not want to go on accutane, as my acne is caused mainly because of my hormones. Is there a generic version of Yaz, do you know of? *thanks again*
  9. Hello everyone! I've decided to go on the pill because my skin is out of whack, I used to have 1-3 pimples on my period, but most recently it started getting worse and worse. I have large, hurtful pimples on my jaw, chin and cheeks, even around my eyebrows and in between. Does this sound like my acne is hormonal? Also, my periods are a bit weird too. Sometimes they're heavy, sometimes they're light, bad cramps, breast tenderness (has stopped since I quit caffeine a few months ago) however, it i
  10. What gentle moisturiser would you reckon ? thats available in the UK I do have 2.5 BP (Oxy) I have been using it for about a week now, stick with that Cetaphil moisturizer is pretty good, also Oil of Olay! Not sure if these are available in the UK, but I just thought I'd throw it in there.
  11. c'est la vigne ROCKS!!!!! She's always so helpful!
  12. Dan's is much better, I prefer it over any BP I ever tried. Sorry to hijack, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.
  13. Well I never used Proactiv, but I am MORE than certain Dan's products are ALOT more gentle! Dan's cleanser is gentle and there are no harsh chemicals in them. The treatment is with 2.5 benzoyl peroxide, as is proactiv, just take it slow and up the dosage in due time. Then his moisturizer is gentle as well. Some people say it burns when they put it on, but not for me. SO, yes this product is ALOT more gentle than proactiv. Maybe we can get some ex proactiv users/DKR users to post as well. :)
  14. I have sensitive skin as well, but I decided to go with them and while sometimes my skin does get flaky and dry, I just use the moisturizer that comes along with it. :D
  15. I don't care either way, however I don't want the price to go up. That'd be the only thing I have a problem with.
