  1. You can try wearing a t shirt the kind people wear when they go jet sking they are made for the water they don't ride up, it won't solve your acne problem but you can have some fun with your son.
  2. I was in the same situation when my son was 17 years old I gave my son his first pill and after that decided to search on the Internet and told my son what I read. I let him make the decision I didn't want to be responsible if something happened, long story short he decided against it, there has been alot of ups and downs over the last 7 years not gonna lie but ever since he turned 24 his acne just stopped now we are just working on scars with peels and dermaroller/stamp.
  3. Innate clear skin are vitamins packets made for acne I got them at Amazon. Did his acne improve with the accutane?
  4. Adeel that's a good question and I'm not really sure what the answer is when he turned 24 in June he still had pretty bad acne proactive plus really wasn't working he had lots of pimples and would get big cyst that would take weeks maybe months to go away and had tons of red marks dried out lack luster skin. About 2 months ago I decided to order AHA from this site since he tried just about everything and didn't have anything to lose. 1st week he had some serious purging but after that is wh
  5. If he has already done 5 months he is just about finished with the treatment and should continue. I am also against accutane but at this point if your cousins has no complications he should finish the course, it took my son 8 years to finally get rid of acne he is 24 years old now and has tried everything and nothing has ever worked it's been a long hard battle.
  6. I think you should Google it from what I was reading it is a side effect of taking accutane and can cause permanent damage to your hearing just do some research online before you take another pill.
  7. From what I read on the Internet it doesn't what other treatment you are using, that is why I ordered the aha for my son who is currently using proactive plus.
  8. You are the same age as my son 24 years old he still uses proactive plus been on it for years it never really cleared him completely back in June he had a flareup so I researched for vitamins that would help acne and came across some reviews for innate skin clear skin vitamins pack I ordered a double pack 2 months supply and was gonna give it at least 4 months to see if it would work he is currently on month 3. I don't know if its the vitamins or just that he is finally outgrowing acne but
  9. If i where you I would not switch products not worth the risk of breaking out, my son used acne free years ago and it didnt work ,he has been using proactiv plus for a couple years he gets lazy with the product and has flare ups but out of the tons of products he has used proactive plus has been the best product. He gets his proactiv on ebay the prices are alot cheaper there he gets the 90 day bottles.
  10. My son just started this yesterday I boil water and add sea salt put in a spray bottle he sprays his face and leaves on for an hour or so before he takes a shower. He also uses proactive plus been on it for several years, in the last year his acne has significantly slowed down but when he turned 23 last month bang he got a really bad flare up out of nowhere right now he is dealing with that desaster hoping the sea salt will help calm everything down, it is a really cheap method so it's defin
  11. My son uses almay clear complexion concealer he takes a makeup wedge and breaks it in half and uses the rough side and just stipples a thin layer here and there, he doesn't use it all the time, it looks pretty nature when you stipple it on.
  12. My son has been on PP for 5 months he had pretty severe acne all over his face and it got even worst when he first started using PP, his face was super inflamed and dry it was rough for the first 3 months, right now he is pretty clear he gets a pimple here and there his red scars have faded alot you can hardly see them. My son has always used the 3 steps twice a day even when his face was like a tomato, you can try cutting it down since your acne doesn't sound that bad. Don't give up on
  13. My son was on it for about a year and it didn't work , about 3 1/2 months ago he had the worst breakout to date, he stopped using the effaclar Duo and started using the new Proactive Plus it took over 3 months for it to work but right now he doesn't have any acne just tons of red marks something effaclar was never able to do in the year he was using it. Everybodys skin is different so it might work for you give it 3 to 4 months and see what happens Good Luck!
  14. My advice take the prescription and throw it in the garbage your acne is nowhere near taking the risk of permanent damage to your body/mind
