  1. Of course not all people are going to have great results with natural products or any products for that matter because we all have different skin types/allergies and what not. So everyone of us react to certain things differently. But it is a lot safer to use natural ingredients rather than harsh chemicals, preservatives, additives..etc. because it does more damage than good. And although benzoyl peroxide works very well at killing bacteria and drying acne, the side effects are not worth it f
  2. Does anyone know of a really good spf15 moisturizer that hydrates well, oil-free, non-comedogenic, hypo-allergenic (won't break me out) and doesn't give an oily, greasy or shiny appearance after applying? I've tried olay sensitive skin spf15 and i think it broke me out because right after i used it i had a bad breakout. Any other suggestions would be very appreciated! Or if anyone knows of any natural sunscreens that i can buy from mothers market, whole foods..etc

  7. Coconut oil is healthiest and great for baking. Olive oil is most likely the healthiest oil to use when cooking. It is best to cut back on your oils and eat more foods that are either steamed with just water such as veggies and eat a lot of greens and antioxidants which help prevent free radicals - good for skin and body! : ]
  8. I find that when I use all natural products over the drugstore/topical brands that I avoid any irritation/side effects such as flakiness, irritation, extreme dryness, itching and redness. Plus back then when people didn't have the luxury of being able to choose from SO MANY acne products out there, they used natural/homemade treatments to maintain clear, healthy skin. And while topical brands can tend to stop working over time these natural treatments never do! Also when using natural treatmen

I don't think your water has anything to do with contributing to your oiliness. It might just be the products our using. A good way for oiliness/shininess to go away fast without stripping your skin is by using blotting sheets. If you live nearby a health food store like mothers market or whole foods i would recommend buying blotting sheets from there or at least get sheets that don't contain mineral oil. Also drinking water helps with oiliness.
  13. Last night was the first night i started using neutrogena on the spot with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and I woke up a few minutes ago and my left cheek, chin is red and my right cheek is somewhat blotchy red it also itches. That is the only con to using this. I used the cream over my entire face which probably wasn't a good idea to be doing the first time using. But there are no signs at all of oiliness or dryness! its amazing! I don't see any new acne forming and the pimples i had yesterday are slo
  14. Seriously! So over this! One day my face is clear and the next its madness. I really have no idea what to do now, i've tried almost everything. I' m using desert essence throughly clean face wash and murad lotion because its the only lotion that doesn't break me out or feel heavy. The face wash can feel a bit dry or tight sometimes but it feels clean and looks clear after using it. Benzoyl peroxide really irritates my skin & dries it out causing my skin to become extremely flakey and red. A
  15. Benzoyl peroxide does a much better job at cleaning out my pores then salicylic acid does. I've never gotten a reaction from using salicylic acid because its gentle enough for my skin but it never did clear my up right away like benzoyl peroxide does. This sucks because I like how benzoyl peroxide works for my acne but I get a really bad reaction from it.
