*`*~FABULOUS Skin Food (GREEN SMOOTHIES)~*`*
pitymeplease replied to *`*~ABG Fairy~*`*'s topic in Diet & holistic health
The addition of Green Smoothies has definitely enhanced my general mood and helped to even my faces tone (reduce redness), but the sugar from the fruit makes me break out around my mouth, which is my main problematic area. Is there a remedy for this? Also, where have you guys found the cheapest place to get greens in bulk? -
Zinc in the morning or at night?
pitymeplease replied to soccersweetie1101's topic in Diet & holistic health
First of all, your pic is blurry and that is unacceptable ;] Second, I haven't found that it matters a whole lot WHEN you take it, just take it whenever you are about to have a solid meal and then it tends to absorb best. Edit: taking 50mg/day -

Entertaining thread. I approve. -
Not at all, it absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling/looking great imo. Back to Dan's moisturizer, I saw his video in which he addressed the redness issue that some people are experiencing and saying that it does that for about a month then goes away and resumes normally. Well, to be quite honest I think a month is a rather excessive amount of time to adjust to a moisturizer and run around looking like a raccoon. I think it says that something isn't quite right with the ingredient list bec

I have to echo what these people are saying, that truly isn't moderate acne and it would be insulting to the people who actually suffer from Severe acne to consider calling it that for even one moment. Not to belittle your condition, not at all. Everyone's skin is terrible - to them. But relative, it's mild. You said that your skin was completely clear in May after using Differin? Well, then go back to what you were doing then. Stop using baby oil if you haven't already. I'm sure your auntie mea

I agree with "recoverme" that acne forces you to be a more humble person. You realize immediately that you aren't perfect, and you wish to be something that you aren't. Acne is also one of those things that you have almost no control over as far as ridding yourself of it. Sure, you can watch your intake and maintain a generally good skin care regimen, but for the vast majority of people who visit this forum, everyone is still searching for their cure and it's not for a lack of trying. Anyway, I

Eucerin Redness Relief
pitymeplease replied to Jasonc126's topic in Over-the-counter acne medications and products
Hey Jason, In my experience, stay away from Eucerin. I understand that all skin types are different, but from what I've gone through and what I've tried, get Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. It's about $8 at the drugstore and it works better than anything I've ever tried. Try applying a bit of lime juice as a toner, let it dry a bit, then apply the moisturizer gently with just your fingertips and allow your skin to heal. Best of luck. -
Bulldog Male Grooming

I couldn't find a complete list, but from browsing the site it seems like the creators of this line really had quality skin care in mind, even if the name and marketing of it is a little brutish/tacky. I'd definitely give it a shot as some of the ingredients (especially in the moisturizer) are very good. edit: I suppose clicking the View All Ingredients tab may help... either way, I bet the products smell really good considering the ingredients :) -
Hey I purchased Dan's Moisturizer after seeing his video and was excited to receive it. Imagine! I moisturizer with the needs of acne sufferers specifically in mind. I also use his cleanser which, I must say, I heartily recommend buying it as it is very lathery and a clear gel that gets the job done without any irritation and it leaves your skin feeling very soft. The trick is just using your finger tips, need to be very very gentle! Back to the topic at hand, the first thing I noticed about

quick update: 2 weeks have passed, experienced increased levels of acne after the first week although it could be contributed to the holiday diet. Haven't gotten any new ones in the last couple of days but I have experienced vastly increased facial redness which is slowly starting to go down. Hopefully the worst is behind me and greener pastures are ahead. On a side note - almost immediately upon taking the colostrum (1-3 days), my muscles in general started to feel noticeably fuller and that a
