  1. Hi! Im really inspired by this thread and am all for natural beauty. I use Almay truly lasting color only on areas that are red, have blemishes and uneven, mostly my chin and jawline, Im really trying to quit using this stuff since Im pretty sure it only adds to my breakouts and redness, but how can I start when I cant possibly go out the house without this on? I wud need to stay in a house for a week for my ski to recover and not be red.??? thanks
  2. Ive read that everybody says green tea helps on rosacea websites....i hate though being reliant on a pill to cure me...if it even does that because some people say it worked for them others say it did nothing, and in the process what if it makes my face worse?
  3. I am dealing with what I think maybe type II papular/pustular rosacea...I dont know if Oracea or a prescription pill for that matter is the way to go...asking to see if anyone has tried it..does it work, not work, side affects, etc. Thanks
  4. My skin is also dry too if i do not moisturize... ive read that feverfew PFE free licorice, and green tea , and colloidal help..has anyone has experience trying this things out?! Also i dunno the outcomes of Oracea if it will make it worse or lead to "breakouts"
  5. Thanks for the reply.. actually i did laser back when i had cysts forming., and it helping to an extent but wasnt anything drastic. Yeah i live in Miami and i work outside in the heat.so I know its not helping my skin, especially with makeup on all the oils on top are getting mixed in my skin- but I have no choice bc i cant go out the house looking that way. Im gonna look into adding aloe vera, and other anti-inflammatory properties, into my diet-- i also notice egg white mask helps alot.
  6. So for those who have been on acne.org before I have struggled with my battle of acne for years. I have been up and down...trying to find something that works and figuring out what ecatky I have. I have noticed that my face is constantly red only in my chin area and a little bit on my jawline..mostly where my blemished/bumps are. Now you cant pop these bumps..its like an under the skin bump that blends in with my skin tone or is in fact red...touch it and nothing comes out. My skin is just red w
  7. I dont want heavy coverage only enough to disguise my red marks.I only used foundation on the areas thats needed along my chin and jawline with maybe a lil powder. Im thinking its not good to use liquid especially with summer around and in florida it gets very humid. I just want to know if cream foundation has coverage for my marks, and should i add a concealer as well? Also is it worth looking into a more higher quality expensive name brand such as Lancome or estee lauder or Laura mercier rathe
  8. I currently use Almay Line smoothing makeup foundation to cover up my red marks and belemishes , primarily bc my skin tone is uneven on my chin kind of red, im they s the priary place my acne is and I dont think its properly healing bc i use liquid foundation on that area, other pats of my face are not like that. Should I switch to a cream foundation just to even up color tone and light concealer instead?
  9. No its normal... just stock with it stinging wil go down redness is just temporary try mxing ith water as well for twice the effectiveness and drinking it.
  10. Foes any one experience purgung before hand, how severe was acne before DIM and how much has it imporved once taking it?
  11. Thanks for the replies, I notice i have small little bumps that sometime itch on my jawline and you cant pop it. I might order garden of wisdom 10% alcohol free marine serum sample.
  12. wow sounds worth a try wOULD MANDELIC ACID BE A GOOD TREATMENT FOR MY SKIN? I have more frequent breakouts before my period as in th photos..horrible, so Im prob estrogen dominant looking into DIM, but I have uneven skin on the sides by my jawline its alot of red spots, and Im hoping is this treatment gentle enough not to irate breakouts but would help even out skin tone? THanks
