  1. I have noticed that for me at least this does help. An easy way to do this, or rather not do this, it to simply turn off the light or turn on a very dim light whenever you are near a mirror. If it is dark, even if you try to get up one inch from the mirror to examine yourself, you will not succeed.
  2. Moderate amounts of sunlight are very good for you. As long as it isn't burning yourself of course. Sunlight helps your body produce vitamin D, which is obviously good for you. If your acne is in part caused by lack of zinc then vit D from sunlight can help aid in its absorption. Extended periods of time in the sun, like 3-5 hours like you mentioned, may have an adverse effect on you if you aren't accustomed to it, just like suddenly running for an hour straight after having no physical activity
  3. First off I'm going to say good luck. It is difficult to not wash your face after the first few days. I am currently doing a modified version of this, rinsing my face with cool water every few days, because I just don't have the will at the moment to go all out. From what I have read about this regimen (or lack thereof) it seems that cold water might be better than warm. Just avoid the water touching your face in the shower and splash on some cold sink water after you get out. It is actually ver
  4. Some people find that the iodine and some other supplements in some multivitamins cause them to break out.
  5. So I have been looking around the net for some good organic, all natural face washes and I came across this one: http://www.organicbeautyworld.com.au/zensc...0ml-p-1138.html Looking through the list of ingredients it looks like an incredible product. Before I buy it, I'm wondering if anybody has had any experience with it, or can suggest any washes similar to it. BTW, I realize that this site ships from Australia...so if you live in the states like me, and decide that you want to buy it, h

  8. Hey all. Been looking through the forums for a while but finally decided to post something. I have been reading a lot about green tea and so I started drinking it yesterday. Hasn't started to help yet, but I wasn't expecting it to start working that fast anyway. However, I have also read many posts saying that rubbing the bags on your face helps a lot also. My question is...should I use the bags in place of washing my face (i.e. once in the morning and once at night) or in addition to it (i.e.
  9. I don't think putting green tea on your face is harmful. Just out of curiosity, what do you do with it? Do you just put tea bags on your face? Related question... Drinking green tea is supposed to be beneficial. I have been drinking it daily for about two years -- without seeking any health benefits from it. I just like green tea. Anyway, I recently started drinking green tea with goji berry and pomegranate, and it is like crack. Seriously, I drink numerous cups during the day. Since I develo
