  1. how bad was ur acne prior to paleo?what fats do you consume whilst on paleo I had moderate cystic acne for about ~11 years. Animal fat, olive oil, coconut oil, and avocados basically
  2. 100% clear on Paleo, 3 1/2 years and counting.
  3. How's everyone doing who is currently on paleo?? It's been 1 1/2 year for me, still 99% clear. stress and sleep also play a big role, i discovered.
  4. I'm currently trying out his method. No anesthetic, vitamin e, aggressive rolling, etc. Very minimal preparation as compared to what I was doing before which I like. Just did my 3rd roll, one roll each week. I haven't noticed any harmful side effects, only good results so far. The redness for me doesn't last more than a day or so and microswelling goes down after a few days.
  5. Great post! 100% agreed. Please give it a shot people. I spent 10+ years trying everything until I found paleo and wish I found it sooner.
  6. Where in NY? I know Fairway carries it. It's called obe beef. And I know of a Whole Foods that has it..Trader Joes as well perhaps? Definitely not A&P and stuff, though. Rockland county its like 40 minutes from the city. I went to this store that is all organic and i found grass fed ground beef, it was 9.00$ for 1lb. I dont think their is any Whole Foods or Trader Joes in rockalnd, maybe Westchester? Also where is Fairway? Fariway..there's a few in the city, one on long island an

  8. Haha, I've got similar stories. Paleo has made me super sensitive to foods I shouldn't be eating...had some tonic water (sugar) a few days ago and got a big pimple within a few hours, crazy.
  9. What an interesting article. I've definitely noticed that even if my diet has cleared my skin, a bit of sleep deprivation and some stress will get me a pimple or two.
  10. Awesome! They have faded a little I must admit and it's only been 8 days. Have you any idea when you saw a big improvement? I'll have been off accutane 2 months in about a fortnight. I'm hoping with the reduction in flushing, dryness and possibly monthly skin shedding, I'll be 90% rid of the marks. That'll leave me plenty of time to prepare for college and stuff. A few months perhaps? I feel like on paleo, you have the best chance to heal quickly.
  11. I'm almost positive my redmarks faded quickly after going paleo, I'll have to check out some before/after pics. I wouldn't say they are 100% gone but they are significantly less to the point of being unnoticable unless I'm looking very closely. The diet you listed looks great, keep it going for sure.
  12. I'm still about, can't understand why the Paelo diet message board isn't the busiest, seeing that I'm cured, and going Paleo is the only way to get clear. Keep with it, my skin is the best it has been in 17 years. But you must be strict. I am extremely unwavering over what I eat. Everyday all I have is celery, cucumber, broccoli, spinach, salad leaves, cauliflower, cabbage, leek, sprouts, fish, fish oil and that's about it, and they are not necessarily organic, as long as it's veg, green and cle
