  2. I heard the same thing. If something suds up it contains detergents which are harsh on the skin. I guess it depends on your skin type and how sensitive it is.   3. Have you tried Mario Badescu's facial cleansers? I currently use their Enzyme Cleansing Gel (PM) and their Acne Facial Cleanser (AM). A lot of their ingredients are botanical and they don't contain many ingredients. But they do contain preservatives (I know some people who like natural products try to avoid parabens and the like).
