  1. How long after accutane did your side effects go away? It's been about a month for me and all side effects are gone but the chest pain (bottom part where the left and right cage meet) when I push on it or if pressure is applied. The pain started right around my 2nd month. I don't feel any pain until pressure is put on my chest.
  2. Edit: just did a search....6 months! Seems long.

  4. How long before getting a tattoo after being off accutane?
  5. Yes, I have the same problem. Moisturizing them with eye drops seem to keep it at bay. Accutane dries everything out including your eyes.
  6. Don't modify your dose. Each case is different. Dose is based on weight and severity of your acne.
  7. Sounds like dry skin to me. Hit it up with a good moisturizer like cetaphil.
  8. I have noticed I tend to get sick more too. Like you, I use to rarely get sick. I wonder if Accutane weakens your immune system?
  9. Does seem short. I was 100% clear on my 2nd month and my derm have me on a 6 month course. Told me that if my cumulative dose based on my weight was a certain amount that I had a better chance of never getting acne again. That's another reason why I don't want a national heath care system in the US. Good luck.
  10. I've had all sorts of aches and pains while on accutane. I just sucked it up. Almost done with me course.
  11. Leave them alone. You will scar worst if you pop anything while on accutane.
  12. OK, I'll stop bitching...lol. I guess all the courses I was hearing was just the 4/5 months (I also have mild acne but persistent and non-responsive to other treatment), never really heard anything more than that till after this post. Thanks, that makes me feel better.
  13. Thanks, yea it did go fast. Nothing bad just tired of being achy, dry lips, and you just don't feel 100% yourself. Oh, and the monthly blood work is getting old. I just did the math, after my 6th month, based on my dose, I would have consumed 9600mg. I weigh 72kg. 72*120 = 8640mg. I guess I'm right on target.
