  1. SEPTIMA Just saw your reply. Are you saying it worked on the type of thing I have - u know the tiny sebum plugs that are in every pore ?? This is what i need to get rid of. They are extremely difficult to get rid of as whilst they look like they are sitting on the skin surface, they in fact aren't - maybe a few layers below and they just cant be easily squeezed out or exfoliated. If it worked on your problem which is like mine then I will test out this Neutrogena stuff. Is it just call
  2. Hmm well I have been exfoliating lots as well as steaming. It does help to an extent but it hasnt got rid of it. The main area on the chin is so full of these tiny sebum plugs, its disgusting. And like I said, because its all over in every pore it looks very bad, its not sporadic. They look like they would be easy to get rid of and yet they are not!!!!! AARRRGGHHH. Seriously annoyed and upset that nothing works and my doc wont give me low dose accutane.
  3. Hi thanks for your reply. Ok so its more like a serum then? I bought a mandelic acid serum from the UK and it just was not at all good, it really dried up my skin and made it crack and peel but it didnt actually do much for the congested pores! I thought the Mama Lotion might be a bit different in consistency, application and result..but perhaps not. Arrgh thought this was going to be my miracle cure you know! Not sure if i should still try it out. ...Do you still have yours? You
  4. Hey guys 2 questions: 1. can you tell me what mama lotion is like when applied to the skin? - Does it come out like a serum (i.e. clear gel that sits on top of the skin)? - Or is it actually like a lotion (as the name suggests) which you rub into the skin? 2. Does your skin start peeling/ slightly flaking the next day after use? How bad does it start flaking? Is it too bad for going to work everyday and being seen by the ‘normal unafflicted folk’? Thanks

  6. Hi Im back for an update. Got the mandelic acid, which has been nothing but awful for my skin - it just makes it incredibly dry and flaky and does nothing for the clogged rice grain sebum blockage i have. Ive tried lots of things now (from OTC, externlal prescription medications, to beauty treatments like microderm and facials) and nothing works - over the last 9-10 years. The only thing that made a slight difference is the exfoliator which helped smoothen any superficially clogged pore
  7. TCat Are you still using the Ishtar Mandelic Acid 10% /15% serum? Do you recommend it? I also live in the UK and I am agonising whether to purchase Ishtar versus other lotions/serums in terms of effectiveness (as well as factoring in price +shipping and location of product etc). I know you probably havent tried all the mandelic acid topicals out there, but here is a list of ones Im thinking of getting and trying to pick which one. 1. Mama Lotion (10%) 50ml £37.90 2. Ishtar serum (10%
  8. Mine have lasted for 8-9 years and you cant clearly see the affect on my skin in the photos. So it really is something to fuss over for me personally. If they only last you for a short period then obviously you are very lucky.
  9. Cheers JRY that would be very helpful. Definitely come back here if it does or doesnt make a difference. Do you think that in the mean time i should try something like mandelic acid? e.g this one from Diana Yvonne? Diana Yvonne - Mandelic acid Ive read here it gets rid of blackheads very well. And although what i have is not blackheads...im thinking it could help - more for my nose than my chin perhaps. Its really expensive tho (after shipping + tax into the UK) so Im nervous about spe
  10. Thanks for your replies. I hope you actually have what i have, and not what most people have when they talk about small bumps. I too get them on my nose all over it, especially on the edge of the nostrils + the sides of the long part of the nose (I can rarely get any of the ones on this latter area out by hands or other instrument - no fat there whatsoever). ACCUTANE?? What about going on ACCUTANE will it work on these tiny bumps? I dont have severe acne so I know my doctor will not will
  11. Gosh you really cant see much in the photos. The first photo shows a little - on the top part of the chin you might be able to see some dots, but it doesnt show the bumps on the lower part of the chin. The last photo is completely useless MANDELIC / GREEN CREAM ETC Anyway I was thinking of taking Lionqueen's advice and getting the Green Cream + Mandelic lotion or serum. Its extremely expensive though so I wanted to know if you think it would even work? Or is what I have just too dif
  12. I know everyone here complains about small bumps on their skin. But when i see other people's photos of it, they look completely different to the bumps i have on my skin. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT I HAVE + WHAT I CAN DO TO GET RID OF MINE? My bumps are like small tiny rice grains that sit in the skin. They are no bigger than 1 or 2 millimetres wide. They are like tiny blackheads but without the black tip on top. They are not inflammed and they do not puss. They are ALL over the chin (f
  13. Posting here because i think peeps might know here too. Hey I just wanted to ask if anyone has managed to purchase Green Cream from a company based in the UK or the EU e.g. France, Germany etc? Ive looked at the US websites that sell it and will ship internationally but apart from just the price of the product and shipping charges, there is also customs duty + value added tax to pay when shipping anything in to UK borders (although not if from an EU country). It massively increases the cos
