  1. I'd be willing to participate. I'm a 24 year old Male.
  2. I've read most the posts regarding moisturizers, and at some point I'm always disappointed. Thats because I'll be reading a post that talks about how great a moisturizer is, and then by the end of the post I'll realize that it is a woman talking rather than a man. Now, no offense to you ladies, your input on these boards is valued beyond belief, but lets be honest.....our faces are totally different when it comes to moisturizers and certain other products. Now guys, I'll get to the point. I
  3. Well, I do know that most hair products contain oil in them, and with gel you might style only your hair in the morning, but it will end up running down onto your forehead at some point during the day and more than likely cause a breakout. I am having a similar problem at the moment as well. I was using an "oil free hair gel" that my derm sold, but I've been out of town and not able to pick more up from his office, so my entire forehead is breaking out. If you have a derm at all, I would su
  4. Yeah, so I've had facial acne since I was a teenager, but thats not the point here. Within the last month or so, I've been getting a lot of bacne. Before now, I'd get the occasional shoulder pimple, but that was about it. Now my shoulders/upper back are suddenly errupting with red marks. WTF? Where did this come from? I'm 23....I thought my face acne was the only thing I was going to worry about, now its on the back too. I know that recently I've started taking Omega 3 and Grape Seed Extr
  5. I was wondering if anyone has used the murad acne supplement pills and whether or not you found them helpful? Here's the link: http://www.murad.com/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?...&minisite=10020 I know that the murad regiman is somewhat unpopular, but the supplement looks like it includes all beneficial nutrients/vitamins. Just thought I'd check with everyone before I laid down some cash.
  6. Hi everyone! I'm a guy who's had acne since he was a teen (now 23). About a year after I started breaking out, I started going to a derm who gave me all this crap to use/take (SA, BP, Differin, Retin A, Dynacin Pills, etc). Well, it did ok....but it never got me 100% clear and after about 3 years of going to that guy, i just got tired of using that stuff, paying that kind of money, and not getting as good results as I would have hoped. So then I switched to Proactiv, which actually worked
  7. Alright, so this is for all the guys out there. What do you think is the best way to shave? I've read a lot about how shaving can aggrevate your skin and all, how you should wash your face before you shave...blah blah blah. I like the feel of a regular shave, but when I have pimples, you can't always shave well with a regular. With an electric, you can shave around the pimple and stuff but sometimes I feel it might irritate my skin more. Does anyone have a favorite shaver or shaving regimen
  8. Hello. I was wondering if anyone just tried the lemon juice in water thing? Did that alone have any results? I'm afraid the vinegar would break me out, so I'm thinking I would just try the lemon water.
