  1. I've been told that nosebleeds are a common side effect of roaccutane, but how do I prevent them? I don't want to be doing an exam/test and have a nosebleed half way through. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I've been using the Cetaphil cleanser for a while now but it does nothing for acne and its clear colour and inability to lather sort of put me off it. I keep seeing this product at my pharmacy called the Benzac AC Wash. It's 5% BP but I'm not sure if it's a cleanser and whether it should or shouldn't be used in conjunction with a treatment such as a BP cream. There is very little information on this product online so I'm a little skeptical, but it matches the brand of BP cream I am using so I h
  3. Hey. I got a couple questions about the Acne.org regimen. First of all, when it comes to washing the face should I use warm water or cold water? I've also considered using warm water, cleansing and then finishing afterwards with cold water (to close the pores and stop dirt/bacteria from entering). Second of all, isn't the point of BP to dry out your pimples and to work as a peeling agent? The use of moisturiser seems sort of counter-productive. Could anyone explain this? Lastly, I've been dev
  4. Well I started the regimen about 6 days ago and my skin is pretty dry in the period between treating and moisturising, but I'm curious as to whether this is normal or not. So yeah, I'm in the same boat as OP.
  5. I'm not sure, I will have to check up on that next time I visit the pharmacy. Thanks for the recommendation.
  6. Ah unfortunately I'm from Australia so there's no chance we will have something like that. :(
  7. This is my fifth day on the regimen and my skin has become really really dry. I think it's from using too much of the BP. I pretty much went straight up to the full dosage (I have experimented with it before so I thought I could take it). I noticed my face was feeling very very tight. I felt very tense whenever I smiled and I was even feeling some discomfort around my eyes. The worst affected areas are around my mouth and near my eyes (even though I avoided that area with the BP). So anyway, for
  8. Hey... sorry I can't help much because I don't know much about the regimen (just starting out myself) but you really remind me of myself. Acne has always bothered me, but it hasn't really been much of a problem until the past few months where I've really broken out. Duac really didn't work for me but if it works for you then go for it. I don't quite understand what you mean by duac being a "supplement" to BP but I assume you mean you're using duac as an alternative to BP? If it was a supplement
  9. Hey, just a question but why should men not use electric razors? And thanks for sharing your success and also, congrats on clearing up.
  10. Hey guys. I went out and bought the products which had the highest review for their category. I have a cleanser, treatment and moisturiser. I was wondering whether the following products were suitable. I live in Australia and we unfortunately do not have as many creams/treatments as the U.S. does. Cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Treatment: Benzac AC 2.5% BP Moisturiser: Cetaphil Fragence Free I would have bought the acne.org products but I figured the sooner I start the regimen the bet
