  1. It was too gross looking, I helped it get away in the shower.. maybe I shouldn't have but it looks a lot better. It wasn't mixed in. Either the blackness was blood or the pus turned into the black stuff. It started around the edges at 7am when I looked at it first then by 12pm when I took a shower it was entirely black.. It came off/out with a bit of gentle squeezing and rubbing and there was the black scab blood like stuff and then there was a white hard pus ball thing that came out too. Th
  2. Actually I might call what I have a pustule.. in which case why is it turning black?? It was red and inflamed for a day then it came to a head and was filled with white/yellow pus. So I let it be and now it's turning black. WTF!
  3. So whiteheads can turn into blackheads? I'm using Epiduo (BP + Differin) and Finacea... will those make it go away?
  4. So I wake up today and look in the mirror. The whitehead I had last night now has black stuff under the white stuff. You can see it on the edge. What's up with this? I resisted the urge to pop it last night and now I'm scared of wtf it is so I guess I will resist more, haha. It's big and painful! What is the black stuff and why is it there?
  5. So my dermatologist and I have been treating my acne since December 2008 and it is not gone. So far we've tried Klaron Lotion, Clindymicin Lotion, Finacea, and Differin. Right now I'm using the Finacea in the am and the Differin cream in the pm. We tried Doxy but I had bad side effects so I had to stop. Right now I'm using Cephalexin. Right now I have some bad jaw line-ish acne and really I haven't had acne there in a really long time. Am I starting to get adult acne now? I'm just barely 20
  6. So like a year ago I went to the dermatologist and yadda yadda yadda, eventually she gave me Finacea, made a few follow up appointments, and basically told me she didn't ever need to see me again except to renew my prescriptions. However, I have had these little bumps on my cheeks since forever. Like, I don't remember not having them. They're just little raised bumps so maybe she didn't notice them and I guess I was stupid and didn't bring them up over the four or so appointments I had, or may
  7. I guess I'm gonna stop taking it and see if it is, but this doesn't make me very happy. I've been getting weiiiiiiird little bumps all over my forehead, not inflamed or whiteheads or blackheads or anything, just little flesh colored bumps. I just realized I started getting these about two weeks ago... when I started taking a multivitamin with Iodine! It might just be coincidental but still I have never had acne like this. I don't even know if it is acne. Do you think it's likely my multivitami
  8. waaah dont remind me I know 26 is a lot, but before this i had like seriously one effing pimple! like ONE luckily i have a derm appointment on tuesday... and i want them gone asap. right now the dermatologist has me on klaron lotion and finacea (one at night and one in the day) but either of those do much for my acne usually.. she says i have a sensitive face, and i do. and ive been reading and they might be ingrown hairs... ive been reading conflicting things on whether threading can even c
  9. ha, its a method of hair removal where they take a thread and like yank your hair out.
  10. So the other day i got my face threaded. My face was hairy and gross and this seemed like an excellent idea... So I got that done, and afterward I couldn't stop touching my supersmooth face. This was the worst idea i think i've ever had. I mean I touch my face all the time and this doesn't happen, so maybe it was the threading, but now I have like 20 effing pimples on the side of my face.. they make me feel so self conscious and ugly and blaaaaaah. I didn't think acne would affect me like th
  11. i posted this in the rosacea forum but no replies yet and i have to go in like 12 hours.. How do i prepare? should i wash my face before I go? I wear makeup to cover up the redness of my face, so i assume I would have to take off the makeup somewhere along the line, but do i do it before i go or what? Should i tell her i think i have rosacea, or should i just describe my symptoms? How do you even pronounce rosacea? (lol) I have little freaking annoying bumps all around my nose/cheek area, my
