  1. Hi everyone, I haven't been on the forum for a while now but thought I'd write a post to encourage other Regimen users. I started using the Regimen (regular cleanser + Dan's BP + regular moisturiser) in January 2009 and nearly 3 years have passed - 3 years of living without acne, that is!!! I never had severe acne to start with but my acne problem was the bane of my existence and had a definite impact on my self-confidence. I could never go out without makeup and if I ever slept over at a friend
  2. HEY THANKX FOR SHARING UR STORY...its awesome that ur willing to put ur face in the web too give hope to others! :)

    1. Hi James!! Many congratulations on your success with the Regimen!!!!! I'm in my 20s and I know how much it sucks to still have acne past your teens Been on the regimen for 6 1/2 months and my skin is now 99.9% clear (maybe 1 small zit every 2 months!!) Keep it up!!! It's really encouraging to hear success stories!!
    2. Hi there! ) I've never used Proactiv then immediately switched over to Dan's regimen BUT 3 years ago, I bought a Proactiv kit for my acne and after 3-4 days it made me break out even worse and I gave up! I started using Dan's regimen in January this year (with Dan's BP and over-the-counter cleanser and moisturiser) and I saw results pretty much straightaway, with no purging with others have experienced. Although both treatments (Dan's and Proactiv) are formulated with 2.5% BP, Proactiv is in
    3. Hi there!! I've been using Dan's AHA in place of my regular moisturiser after the BP at night, everyday, for over 2 weeks. (Been on the Regimen since January). Definitely seeing great results and irritation was minimum even at the beginning. Acne marks are fading quicker and overall skin texture and complexion is just more even and smoother! Maybe start out with 3 times a week and see if it works for you before upping the dose? Hope it helps and good luck!
    4. Great post! I like your notion of 'acne sufferer's skin'.... Really sums it all up. Started using Dan's AHA too after reading your post actually ! I've been on the Regimen for nearly 5 months and I hardly have new pimples anymore. My face is now 99.5% clear (with the odd tiny spots that go away usually in a night) but without makeup on and looking at myself up close in the mirror, my eyes would still be drawn to the little imperfections and especially the hyperpigmentation marks. I really hope
    5. Hi Testing! Sorry to hear you're still breaking out ( I've been on the Regimen for nearly 5 months now and my skin is 99.5% clear pretty much 99% of time so I know that although the Regimen doesn't work for everyone, it's definitely not a scam product like so much other stuff out there is! Like the previous posters I'd suggest cutting down the BP to start with... When I started out I was only using a pea-sized amount twice a day. Anyway best of luck!!! Really really hope the regimen's going to
    6. Hi there! I've used Simple's Rich Replenishing Moisturiser before (I think that's what it's called) and it definitely made me break out. That was before I started using the regimen though. I looked the ingredients up and it turns out that this particular Simple moisturiser contains some highly comedogenic ingredients e.g. coconut oil is the top ingredient listed and is highly comedogenic I'm now on the regimen using a facewash and moistursiser from the Boots Expert Sensitive Range and Dan'
    7. Hi i_munna_eachoo I've been on the regimen for 3 1/2 months and use makeup daily. My regimen goes like this: AM Cleanse for a few seconds (Boots Sensitive Expert facewash/ Olay) BP (Dan's) Moisturise (Boots Sensitive Expert) Make up (I alternate between a few foundations... Lancome Teint Idole is non-comedogenic and generally trustworthy with good coverage. Bourjois 24 Hr Sleep Effect is inexpensive, non-comedogenic from experience but with little coverage) PM Remove makeup (Shu Uemura clean
    8. Hi cooljames, so glad that the DKR is working for you and thanks for sharing your succes story! I've been on the Regimen for 3 1/2 months and had great succes right from the beginning. It was fairly consistent with minor setbacks (like I'd get a few new zits here and there pver the course of 2 months) but nothing like what I used to have (i.e. 1/2 new zits A DAY). Then for the past 4 weeks I haven't had one new pimple... It looks like things have stabilised and I finally have perfectly clear sk
    9. I started out using tiiiiiiny amounts of BP and even then it was really dry for a few weeks. I eventually adjusted to it but if on the odd occasions I put too much BP on I'd still get dryness and flakes so it's all about finding the right amount that works for you As of now I only use one pea-sized amount for both my cheeks (I know some hardcore Regimen followers would not agre with me! ) at night and half that amount in the morning and manage to stay pretty much 100% clear with minimal dry
    10. Try the Boots Expert Sensitive Foaming Cleanser? It's inexpensive (2-3 quid?), really gentle and I've been using it as part of Dan's regimen with great results Good luck!
    11. I've been on the Acne.org regimen for about 3 months and not only has my skin cleared up but I've saved sooooooooo much money on skincare!! I used to be a skincare snob and regularly spent around £100 a month on different skincare products. However no matter what I used, I always had acne persistently. Consequently I was always looking out for something better and spent so much money on things that didn't work. The Acne.org regimen is, however, extremely economical. I spent about £20 on th
    12. Your skin looks beautiful!!!! That's fantastic! I've been on the Regimen for nearly 3 months now and I've also had incredible success! Thanks for sharing your experience with us and keep it up!!
    13. Hi there! I've been using Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating Moisturiser as part of the Regimen with great results. Hope it helps!!!
