  1. Ok, I haven't been on here in a while, but my acne has mostly cleared although you can see one spot on my chin.. ugh this was the first picture I took so it's quite bad.. :s

    Looking good
  3. Oh and I saw your accutane thread, amazing progress! I know what it feels like having to go to school with acne, but thankfully mine has cleared away now as well :)

  4. Haha I only just saw your comment :P Yes it is quite funny :)

  5. I'm also trying this theory for my bacne.. I have not 'knocked one off' for 2 days now. It is going to be very hard, but I guess it will be worth it in the end..
  6. Tell me about it.. my acne isn't bad anymore, but I still look terrible in some mirrors.. espcially when fluorescent lights are involved.. who invented those stupid lights anyway? I look fine in normal lights, but at school i'm constantly self conscious because of the stupid fluorescent lights that stay on all day for some reason even if the sun is shining in the room!
  7. That is mild.. not bad at all. It looks fine
  8. As the other person said, it is pretty mild, and very similar to what I used to have. I recommend benzoyl peroxide 2.5% as that cleared my acne in a month after struggling for 2 years, and I now get small breakouts every 2-3 weeks instead of nearly every day.. Good luck
  9. I really recommend dans regimen! Your acne looks fairly mild/moderate, you don't have any cysts or nodules so I think it would work very well for you
  10. Lol, it tingles a bit when you put it on, but it is fine. You should only leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then wash it off with water. When I did it, the areas that I put it on went red for a bit, but when I woke up it was fine I think I did it about 2 times a week.
  11. Yeah, that looks sort of similar to what I have on my chin, those definately look like red marks.
  12. Glycolic acid is an AHA (an acid) that removes the layers of skin, so basically it speeds up the healing of red marks and scars, but do not expect it to work over night, you should start to see results after 3 or 4 applications
  13. Hey, I used to have acne EXACTLY like that and it is very annoying. Your acne looks mild, but I don't know if it is the flash on the camera, but your skin looks a bit oily which could be the cause. I would suggest you use benzoyl peroxide 2.5%, I used it and cleared up within a month and I only get very mild breakouts now. Hope this helps and good luck
  14. That is definately mild, you said proactive doesn't work on you.. maybe you could try a different brand of benzoyl peroxide 2.5%? I had acne similar to that but worse and it cleared up within a month. I wouldn't suggest accutane, your acne is way too mild for accutane, your skin looks great
  15. I recommend you continue with the regimen, it cleared me up within 2 months, now I only get the odd zit but I still have red marks left. It looks like you have moderate acne. You have some acne, but some of it looks like scars. The redness will go away on its own, there isn't too much you can do unless you want to try glycolic acid.
  16. Personally I pick them, wash the crap out underneath with water and then the next morning there is usually a smaller scab there and I repeat the process
  17. Yeah, to me it just looks like hyperpigmentation. You could try Glycolic acid, but yours look like they have faded a bit already so they will probably clear soonish
  18. Hey, sorry I have been away recently! To answer your question about tea tree oil, It might have something to do with it, but is there anything else that you have changed? Anyhow, I would try and stop using tea tree oil and see what happens.. in my case it didn't help at all :(

  19. I'm just starting to become clear In March I began using the regimen and now I have only mild breakouts about every 2 weeks that don't leave marks thankfully. I still have some red marks left from previous acne, but it isn't too noticeable. Although i'm acne free, I still don't feel good about my body.. I was happy for a while but now i'm beginning to stress over other parts of my body that I don't like so overall not too much has changed for me..
  20. I would suggest accutane.. but don't worry too much because you are hot!
  21. It looks very good now, although it didn't look too bad before. Well done
  22. hmm, did you use 2.5% or 10%? This happened to me when I tried 10%, but when I switched to 2.5% it was fine.
  23. Yeah, I found that tea tree oil aggrivated my acne. I Would suggest you use BP again, I used to have exactely the same as you except maybe more, and by using BP every night I get maybe 1 new spot per week max.
  24. It doesn't sound too bad.. you might be doing a bit too much. You say that you only have mild acne, so I would strongly suggest you go on the regimen on this site! I used to have moderate acne untill I got some Benzoyl Peroxide in March, now I'm totally clear on most days! I used to try the same stuff that you did, ACV e.t.c but none of them worked for me. They could work for you, but I really think you should try the acne.org regimen if you haven't already Good luck
  25. I feel bad because one of my teachers has acne and sometimes I hear people making fun of her outside classes, it must be hell for her Personally I have been called names and stuff.. I've been told that I should wash e.t.c by all of the ignorant idiots who surprise surprise are now beginning to get acne as well. My acne has basically gone now though, just a few red marks, so I haven't had comments for a while
