  1. Ive been battling the same thing kind of for 3 years Diagnosing acne, perioral dermatitis, seb derm.. finally 3 months ago my derm gave up and did a demodex mite test.. found out that i was loaded with them.. he prescribed crotamiton and ive been great ever since.. rediculous how well it works. no more redness scaling bumpy pustules. Maybe you have the same becuase what protopic does is modulate your skins immune system so even though the mites are there your skin wont become inflamed as much..
  2. true dat mike. Theres definitely hormones flying like crazy during sex/masterbation.. May effect people differently.
  3. I dont see anyone ever talking about sulfur on here. Its a great alternative to BP with similar keratolytic functions. Its a lot more natural than Benzoyl peroxide and all those other chemicals.
  4. brissyguy... it says BP, along with antibiotics.. plz read and this is pointless everyone thinks differently.. Im trying to give people knowledge of acne and how you dont need to put something on your face thats synthetic. I believe that for every bad thing out there, there is a natural way to get rid of it. People were better off 30 years ago without all these chemicals. Im just glad I dont use it. Goodluck to all who try
  5. Willow.. .all you can say is you dont know this clearly... studies havent been proven to that.. blah blah blah... well let me ask you this? Have there been adequate studies saying that is 100% okay to put on your face? The thing bleaches for christ sake. Putting on pounds of BP twice a day is just masking whats really causing your acne down deep. I can find countless studies of BP and other acne chemicals creating irritation and disrupting the skins mantle to unleash bacteria into damaged, irrit
  6. Why do you think most acne products use BP? It messes with your face, makes your skin addicted to it... people say Proactiv's kit is terrible... and thats BP.. same as Dans regimen
  7. coconut oil can be found at vitamin world.. 100% sure
  8. dan uses the regimen on 15% of his face.. if that. I have a conspiracy that he just puts moisturizer on to act like BP. haha
  9. OK honestly guys.. something has to give you a red flag when BP bleaches things! come one now! and if im not mistaken, mice are used pretty much 100% of the time to test drugs in their beginning stages.
  10. I have found an interesting article about the use of BP. Investigations on fifteen patients with acne showed that at the end of 1 and 2 months of treatment 5% benzoyl peroxide increased the sebum excretion rate by 22.5%. This rise in sebum excretion is probably due to the comedolytic activity of benzoyl peroxide which will influence the pooling of sebum in the upper reaches of the pilosebaceous duct. but yeah, just quit the regimen and look into sulfur to treat your skin condition. No one real

  13. Throughout the last fifteen years there has been much research conducted in order to determine whether there are any significant long term effect related to the use of benzoyl peroxide as an acne treatment. Benzoyl peroxide is routinely used in a number of over the counter acne treatment products and is considered to be one of the more popular treatment products that can be obtained without a prescription. Many of the first indications that there may be some side effects related to long term use
