  1. I have been using the acne.org regimen and products for the past three years with incredible success. I have stayed clear during that time and have had no issues with the products. That is until about four weeks ago when irritated and itchy red patches start appearing all over my face. At first I thought it was just something I'd eaten, but the irritation persisted and was limited to my face. People suggested the irritation was caused by my acne medication, but I told them it was impossible:
  2. Ah, the dermatologist route. Is there anything a dermatologist could even do to mitigate the scar, though? Someone suggested a cortisone injected right into the sucker, but I'm kinda skeptical...
  3. Since 2007, I've had this thing on my nose: For a while I thought it was just a stubborn zit, but the fact that it's still there, many years later, leads me to conclude that it's actually a scar... that just happens to look like a zit. There's no pus inside and it won't flatten out no matter how much benzoyl peroxide or salicyclic acid I dab onto it. I've come to terms with the crater on my nose, but I want this zit-slash-scar thing gone! Anyone else have something like this? Can I g
  4. I have a hypertrophic scar on the tip of my nose. It's been there for a couple of years and looks like perpetual pimple. And it hasn't gotten better with time. It's just always THERE. Ughhh.
  5. I've experienced this once or twice before. It's definitely very unpleasant and alarming. I mean, I've gotten a zit on my KNEE... IN my EAR... and other strange places, but a cystic zit on the groin was definitely strange. Don't worry, though, it'll either come to head or subside. And the great thing is that no one will have to know about it or see it or the post-inflammatory mark that will be left behind. By the way, don't put tea tree oil on that sucker. Silly me did that once and my entire
  6. Hold his research "hostage" until he gets down on his knees and apologizes or... just sabotage his research so that he doesn't get his PhD.
  7. If anything I think NOT masturbating would cause acne.
  8. Too much sun exposure is damaging to the skin AND can increase your risk for skin cancer. Tans are overrated.
  9. No way! And I don't even want three frickin' stars on my face like this girl asked for. Actually, I don't want any tattoos anywhere on me. BTW: Girl with 56 stars tattooed on face admits she asked for them lol.
  10. I know you said not to, but I gotta say it: It's not real. The correlation between masturbating and breaking out is either illusory or there is a third variable at work. Maybe it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. People who believe the myth that masturbating causes acne... masturbate, stress out that they will breakout after they get their rocks off, and end up breaking out because of all the worrying. But if you really believe masturbation causes acne, stop masturbating. lol.
  11. In any case, I don't know the answer to your qurstion, but I think it would make sense for your skin to produce more oil in order to moisturize your overly dried out, probably leathery skin.
  12. I find that Dan's products are actually significantly cheaper compared to the ones you'd find at the store. Well... at least for the benzoyl peroxide! Even when you add in the shipping price, his BP (for the quantity you get) is cheaper.
  13. Awesome improvement! Looking forward to seeing the pictures for hopefully more improvements
