  1. Your face wash does not need to contain SA. The cleanser is not on your face long enough to start exfoliating, it's just washed down the drain.
  2. I'm subscribed to Paula's Beutypedia site, and she does not recommend Green Cream. It contains way too much alcohol, which just causes free radical damage, irritation and excessive dryness. You're better off sticking to one of her BHA liquids.
  3. haha what C'est La Vigne said. For me natural products are the way to go, I'm so glad I found this forum because I was completely blind from the damage Neutrogena and Clearasil were causing. I thought it would all go away if I used harshed chemicals and a gentle lather wasn't good enough to get aaall of the dirt out :naughty: I was wrooong. Thank goodness for Acne.org amirite?: ) but I understand your frustration, I wish I knew about this stuff sooner! Sorry, but there are quite a fe
  4. That Eucerin sunscreen you posted contains Alcohol, so I would avoid it.
  5. Just because something is labeled "organic" or "all natural", does not make it any better for your skin. Burt's Bees' products are filled with irritating "natural" plant oils and other ingredients that dry and irritate your skin more so than synthetic ingredients.
  6. I would suggest a well formulated BHA product (salicylic acid). Some options to consider: Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment, or one of Paula's Choice many options (depending on your skin type, and if you don't mind ordering online).
  7. Were you using a product with SPF during the day? If not, I recommend doing so.
  8. That specific facial wash will remove your make-up anyway, so you don't need 2 different ones. And just an added note: Clean and Clear's Foaming Facial Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, its the exact same product (same ingredients), and it's cheaper. Both companies are owned by Johnson and Johnson.
  9. Agreed, the Neutrogena sunblocks are some of the best at the drugstore. Look for either The Age Shield line or Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch line.
  10. Pick the Sensitive Skin one. It's always the safer bet, as it doesn't contain fragrance (which your skin doesn't need).
  11. I've tried both the Skin Recovery Antioxidant Serum and the Super Antioxidant Serum, and they are both AMAZING. My skin's texture was much smoother, and a lot less dry in certain areas. I used it both in the morning and at night.
  12. If you have dry skin, stay away from bar cleansers! The ingredients that make them solid dry out your face and are terrible for your skin.
  13. Get a good sunblock (La Roche Posay Anthelios), and wear it everyday...even if it's cloudy. Several cosmetic companies also make "brightening" lines". You could try some of those.
  14. Look at your veins. If they are more visibly blue, then you have a cool undertone. If they are more of a green color, then you have a warm skin tone. I'm personally a combo of the two.
