  1. I dont know if you know this, but cold sores are actually herpes breakouts (dont worry 90% of adults have them in the oral region). Whatever you do, do not pick at them or you will spread the infection to other parts of your body/face. It can get ugly...If you are having consistent breakouts you should go see a doctor. BTW, there is no such thing as "coldsore season". Best of luck.
  2. Just out of curiosity for those who have tried to temporarily go off of the regimen, when has the acne come back? I.e. a few days, a week, a month, etc.
  3. yeah that's what I was thinking. It's just that I've come so far with the regimen (approx 2 months). But i would assume skipping a day wouldn't "kill" me.
  4. Hey everyone, I'm at a crossroads here. I have a lasik appointment next thurs and was advised not to wash my face for a day after the surgury in order to prevent unwanted bacteria near my eye as it heals. Unfortunately this means I will be without DKR for a day. I was thinking about just wetting a towl and putting some of the face wash on it and then wiping it off then applying bp. I cannt submerge my whole face in water. Should i just skip it for a day?? opinions pls.
  5. I disagree with that comment in regards to "so many people coming back to say their acne came back when using dan's BP". Perhaps the ones who have positive results have no need to come back to the forum as their acne problems are solved. And the ones who do come back obviously need further help as to why the regimen stopped working. Nobody here is "dependent" on BP, we make the rational choice to use this product because we want clear skin. Yes, BP is not exactly "good" for your skin, but is
  6. hm...maybe you subconsciously changed another element of your life during your product usage days (i.e. diet, exercise, or sleep)?
  7. I don't think this is the right section to post your question in. Perhaps posting in the body acne section will yield more feedback.
  8. I PM'd Brandy with that very same question and she assured me that Dan has no intention of messing with the current regimen. I hope not, why fix what isint broke? BTW you rock Dan. You've done so much for all of us!
  9. I've read posts about Dan's BP being more forgiving when it comes to redness versus other over the counter BP's. Definitely worth a try.
  10. good article. Although I've always questioned Fox News articles lol. It just proves my point that everything these days will have potential negative effects for the future.
  11. http://www.beautysecretsblog.net/2008/04/0...e-cause-cancer/ check this read out.
  12. this topic has been discussed many times. Try browsing in the different sections of this forum. Cell phones and wireless internet have been linked to cancer. Are you going to stop using cell phones or wireless internet? Constant sun exposure promotes a higher chance of skin cancer even with sunblock over time. There are a lot of "what ifs". You make the call. The regimen worked for me and I've tried a lot of stuff. BP is nothing compared to antibiotics or accutane. Good luck.
  13. I always suggest anyone who is having difficulty treating their acne to only consider accutane as a last resort. I know. I've been on 2 cycles of that stuff and I still had acne after them (minor acne though). If i could change my past I would have tried more topicals before ingesting any form of antibiotics or accutane. Try DKR. I cannot gurantee it will work for you, but your acne doesn not look severe which gives the DKR a good probability of working (unless ur allergic to BP).
  14. that might also be from not completely spreading the BP the night before. I notice sometimes when i spot treat with the BP and do not completely spread it till it's completely absorbed I get that white layer as well. Just mix with a bit of water and smooth it out.
