  1. Well I use random BP products that are over the counter. They all contain 5% BP. I can't find 2.5% BP which I'm sure would be less irritating. I've been using it on and off for the past year, but consistently since 3 weeks ago.
  2. Hey guys, I use BP and it makes my skin dry and peeling. I don't mind the dry part, I just hate the peeling because if I remove the peeling skin, it leaves a small red mark from the part where the skin was attached. Moisturizing doesn't help. Putting on less BP doesn't cause peeling but I usually still have some pimples if I don't put enough BP on. So I was wondering if anyone can suggest something to remove the dead, peeling skin without taking off the live skin. Chemical exfoliators maybe? I t
  3. Wow you look great! Does BP help in getting rid of red marks? I'm assuming it helps since it peels skin?
  4. Does it bleack hair? I have dark hair and I put BP on my hair sometimes, but no staining.
  5. That's not a good idea. I think you need to stop using BP for a while before tanning again. I was wondering the same thing, but I tried going into the sun after washing off the BP on my face, and I got home looking like a lobster. I'm assuming a tanning salon would be the same effects as the sun?
  6. Every doctor I've talked to about it said it's safe, as long as you don't go into the sun too much, it should be safe.
  7. I have the same problem. I wear glasses when i'm in class so that may be why??
  8. It's worth a try, I tried alot of other products, but I found that Benzoyl Peroxide works great for me if it's used properly. I don't moisturize or cleanse with anything special. I just wash my face with water, dry it and put on some Benzoyl Peroxide. Good luck!!
  9. Thanks for the replies. BP works great for me, I got back on it just 1.5 weeks ago and my skin is acne free already.
  10. I've used BP since late January of this year. I went on it on and off, what I noticed was that my skin breaks out right after I stop using it. I also read a website that was defending a thesis against this site, saying that BP is only good while you use it, but once you stop, then your acne gets much worse. I also noticed that someone asked Dan a question. They asked since he was 34, hasn't he grown out of acne, and he replied something like as soon as he stops using it, his acne begins again. H
