  1. Just curious ... has anyone had success coming off of the Regimen? Seems like there are plenty of people who have become clear doing the Regimen, myself included ... but it seems like everyone who stops always starts to break out again. I don't want to be dependent on BP for the rest of my life ... I'm already at the point where I only use BP at night and remain clear ... so I was just wondering if there were any success stories of people slowly coming off of the Regimen and remaining clear.
  2. Yea, I had a lot of ups and downs at the beginning of the regimen. You just have to have faith that it's working and give it time. I think I saw improvement after 1-2 weeks, but a very significant difference after 6-8 weeks.
  3. Just thought I would share my experiences with The Regimen in hopes that it might help or encourage others. For some reason, I started breaking out pretty bad 6 or 7 months ago ... I'm a 25 year old male and haven't had bad acne since I was 14-16. I was pretty much clear after 17 or 18. Anywayz, for whatever reason, like I said, I started breaking out pretty bad 6-7 months ago and it was mainly around the jaw line, but not exclusive to that area. After trying to wait it out for about 6 wee
  4. I've found that the tanning or darkening of my skin is mostly due to irritation. I'm only doing the regimen once a day now, and have been clear for about 2 months. On days that I'm too lazy to put on my moisturizer with SPF30, I've noticed that my face looks overall just darker ... and days with moisturizer it is more of my normal tone. So my advice is just to find a good moisturizer that works for you ... because in my case my tanned face was due to irritation. My new moisturizer/sunscreen
  5. I recently purchased Eucerin Clear Skin Formula Daily Control & Care Moisure Creme ... due to needing a decent night time moisturizer (no spf). I thought since most people liked the renewal and this one also contains lactic acid it might be worth a shot. Many people have also reported that the Eucerin Renewal makes them look greasy ... so I thought I would give this one a shot for night time application and maybe if it doesn't work so well, I'll switch to the Eucerin Face Renewal ... altho
  6. I was using Proactiv Repair Lotion with Cetaphil daily face wash when I originally started the regimen. I used it for about 2 weeks and when my lotion was running short I ordered some of Dan's BP. I feel like Dan's BP works just as well if not better. The texture is a little bit thicker, which gives you a little more time to rub it into your skin and let it absorb ... and afterwards my skin usually feels smooth. Dan's BP uses the least ingredients possible as to eliminate any additional irri
  7. Well, I can't say that I've looked extremely hard ... but I've been to a few Watson's and convenient stores here ... and I have not been able to find any Cetaphil or BP products. Most of the acne treatments here contain salicylic acid and not benzoyl peroxide. I stocked up on my Cetaphil before I came back to Taiwan. I have however purchased the Neutrogena moisturizers here, but they do not carry on the spot treatment. I didn't have to pay any taxes or any additional fees to receive my packa
  8. Hmmm ... tried out Dan's BP for the first time tonight. Previously I had only used Proactiv's 2.5% BP Repairing Lotion. My first impression is a very good one. While it looks similar in substance to Proactiv's, it is actually thicker but absorbs suprisingly quick. For some reason ... Dan's BP didn't sting as much as the Proactiv ... and my face didn't feel as raw or tight after application. So ... with all that said, I have to say that my initial impression is that Dan's BP is better than
  9. Wow! I got online and ordered 5 tubes of BP Gel exactly one week ago from today ... and today in my mailbox I received it ... and the amazing thing is that I'm in Taipei, Taiwan. I was a little concerned about shipping to Taiwan, because I've had problems before and sometimes packages have taken over a month ... and most of the time the package is too big so I have to go down to the post office and pick it up. Now you have to realize that Chinese is my second language ... making this all much
  10. Just wondering if anyone here has tried the Eucerin Extra Protective Lotion SPF 30 with the regimen. Seems like most people here like the Eucerin Daily Renewal SPF 15 ... but I like the thought of a higher SPF. I don't think the SPF 30 is an Alpha Hydroxy formula, but it still is a moisturizer. Anyone who has used it please give me some feedback. I'm currently using the Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15 ... and I like it OK ... just looking for an SPF 30 moisturizer that works just as well or bette
  11. I feel the same way. Especially if you have applied BP, moisturizer and/or sunscreen. From what I've heard, if you are wearing anything on your face whether it be oil free or non-comedegenic, when you work out and sweat a lot there's a high chance that it may cause you to breakout ... also it feels more irritating because the sweat is mixing with all the stuff you have on your face plus any additional dirt and oil accumulated through the day. I usually use my Cetaphil to do a quick gentle was
  12. Does anyone use moisturizer and a sunscreen? I've been using the Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15, but I don't feel like it's enough ... because recently it's been really hot and sunny here and the stuff tends to run when I sweat. So, I've been considering using Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Combination Skin and putting Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer sunscreen SPF 45 over it. So the dilemma is that the moisturizer does not provide enough effective sun protection and tends to come off or run easily ... b

  14. Hmm ... interesting ... these shoots DO have mineral oil listed as one of the ingredients. I was under the impression that they were just silky sheets with nothing on them But they have been working well for me so far ... any other suggestions then if not these sheets? Also, the reason I asked the first question is especially for sunscreen I guess. I know sunscreen works through either reflecting/blocking/absorbing UV rays ... and maybe the reason it's shiny sometimes is due to its reflecti
