  1. I completely agree. I've been researching it for some time.
  2. I would say http://www.sciencedaily.com. That's a really good website.
  3. But clearly, acne is not "like any other bacterial invasion." If it were, we could fight it off just like other bacterial infections with antibiotics, right??? And even if that was true, it's something much deeper than that. At least, it is in my mind :P The problem with acne isn't just the bacteria, so when people use antibiotics to clear their skin the acne can come back once they stop. Also the bacteria can become resistant to antibiotics. I think the best way to heal a lesion

  5. For years I've researched the causes of acne, what triggers it, what's best effective at treating it, the whole nine yards....But just recently, it came to mind that there was one question I ( and a lot of other people, from the looks of it) was forgetting to ask: How does acne HEAL? What's happening under the skin when an acne lesion finally decides to subside?? Maybe the answer to that question is just as important as how it starts?? It's just a theory....
Smells nice, WORKS! Makes skin smooth and soft. None. Bought it once and saw great improvement, but it ran out....Then I started breaking out again. Recently decided to buy it again, and my skin looks better!
  6. I see why you say this...I agree, for the most part. I think that in general, a guy can look any kind of way and still be pretty popular or whatever...While girls may be criticized more..Not only do guys not find them to be attractive, but girls may mistreat "unattractive" girls as well. I, personally, don't like to call ANYONE ugly, unattractive, or even pretty anyway.
  7. This website doesn't allow "advertising", so I've copied and pasted the article instead. [ A controversial acne drug, isotretinoin - originally sold under the brand names Accutane and Roaccutane - appears to cause few adverse reactions when used in lower dose regimens, according to a review of more than 1700 New Zealand patients. The drug had high rate of success for improving acne but developed a controversial reputation for side effects, including depression - claimed to have led to suicidal
  8. I think it has to do with you being a new member, as well. Just hang in there.
  9. I've never heard of it, but i'm pretty much willing to try anything at this point lol
  10. I say it works! I broke out about 2 weeks ago, and when I went to the pool the other day, the chlorine completely dried up the acne on my face! I've been doing this for years, actually.
  11. Haha I don't think you are being sarcastic right?!?! I used it yesterday and it definitely looks better. I believe it speeds up the healing process I'm not being sarcastic, i just really can't fathom the thought of this working for acne! really?! I never thought about trying it...It seems like it's really greasy for my skin though..I already have too much oil as it is.
  12. Soo....you're saying that petroleum jelly can help with acne?? Really?! If that's what you're saying, I can hardly believe it!!!
  13. Well I'm not so sure about your question; wish I could help... It could have the same effect, you should try it!
  14. I would hope that you of all people on this site would show more compassion... Truth be told, I see you complaining the most on this site anyway.
