  1. Hi guys, it has been a while since I've posted here. Just looking for some insight / someone to sympathize with me. Background: I've had very moderate acne for about 6 years or so, but it has been persistent. I've tried every over the counter product you can think of, been to the derm twice, and was on Dan's regime for about 2 years. They all were somewhat effective, but I want to clear my skin for good. I went to the derm for the 3rd time on August 9. Like I said, I have moderate acne - a cou

  3. Yes, it's winter. The only problem with that is then my skin gets even more oily.
  4. I've persistently used Dan's regime for over two years now, with amazing results. It really works great for me. However, suddenly my skin is becoming VERY dry. Nothing has changed with my routine, however my skin is EXTREMELY dry and flaky lately. Regardless, I'd like to somehow reduce my product use, and slowly get off the regime. I think my skin could handle using the regime only once a day. However, the problem is when I don't use the products in the morning, my skin becomes very oily. Sti
  5. I just got back from a 5 day vacation, and my face is somewhat sunburned. I didn't use the regimen at all while on the trip, and I am pretty clear. However, I need to start it back up again now that I'm home. Should I wait for the sunburn to fade completely to continue, or is it ok to apply over the sunburn?
  6. I am the EXACT same way, and I want my skin to return to normal! I love the clear skin, but the flakes are getting ridiculous. Ive also got the burning sensation after applying the AHA for about 30 minutes. Ughh.
  7. Oh, so you only use 3/4 a pump at night?! Thatd be soooo great. Haha. Good plan though. I'll slowly decrease both my night / morning dosages and see what I can handle.
  8. I've now been on the DKR for a little over 6 months now, and my skin is looking great! However, I'm excessively flaky, and overall I'm just sick of process. Applying the BP, letting it dry, etc, takes quite a bit of time twice every day. I use two full pumps at night, and only one in the mornings. No matter how little I use, my skin is dry and flaky. I want it to return to normal. If I started using the DKR only at night, would that keep the acne away, yet help my skin return to a normal "te
  9. I just received a new bottle of the AHA. My last bottle was much more of a cream. This new bottle seems very runny and much more liquidy... Is this normal?!
  10. I don't get how this could happen! I just hit the 4 month mark of the regimen. Last friday, I left for a little trip with a bunch of friends. Before leaving, I did the regiemn, etc, and my skin was looking pretty good. About only about two active pimples. When I got there, I realized I accidentally forgot all of my skincare things, except the cleanser. I also remembered all the supplements that I take [fish oil, zinc, & vitamin c]. Now, I thought I was going to break out because I didn't ha
  11. Hmm.. Anybody else have a clue?
  12. Hello, I"ve been on the DKR for a little over three months now. I have my good and bad weeks. Acne is *almost* completely under control, and I think SA might be the key. Would it be ok for me to use Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash as a cleanser instead of Dan's, and then continue with the BP & Moisturizer after that? Thanks --
  13. My mom bought this for at home use. Has anyone tried microdermabrasion at home by themselves? did it work for red marks? I'm afraid to try it..
  14. Thanks for the fast reply! And yes - my active acne is well manage. I generally only have about 2 active pimples at any time, sometimes even less. Never white heads, always just red, uninflamed pimples. Ok, cool! I was also thinking one application per day, at least to start out. == I'm thinking of trying neutrogena rapid clear, anybody have any luck with that?
  15. I'm at about week 11 of the regimen. The first 3 weeks were absolutely amazing. Flawless skin. However, as time has progressed, I have been able to keep my acne under control most times, but it just isn't the same as the beginning weeks - and one product that I have never tried is Salicylic Acid. I want to keep using Dan's regimen, because I know it can and does work. However, would it be ok for me to add a product containing salicylic acid into my daily routine? If so, when would be the appropr
