  1. OH yah, sorry. I should be more clear. I think that your left side--the small holes and indents--could be used with TCA Cross. It would have to be used sparingly, in my opinion. But the other people are probably right. Maybe a TCA peel would be good. It's just that I used TCA cross for scarring similar to his on my face many of my small holes ultimately leveled. It's just that you got to know when to use TCA cross. People are so scared of it! I've only had good results. But I'm sorry; maybe I
  2. Hi, your scars don't seem very bad at all. If i were to look at you, I probably wouldn't even notice them. Well, I understand how you feel nonetheless. You might want to tri Retin-A to improve the scar. Or you can try a more invasive method called TCA Cross for your ice pick and box scars. Check out the TCA Cross thread on here. The person REilly saw some really good improvements. But always do research before you start doing anything! Wish you luck. But really, they don't look very bad at
  3. Hi, I got some scars that look like yours. You might want to try a TCA Peel or TCA Cross. TCA Cross would generally be for your box car and ice pick scars. You'll probably have to repeat the method several times though. You only apply it on your scar and not good tissue. Check out the Rappaport study on TCA cross: http://www.cosmeticskin.com/skin-acne4.shtml "The patient treatment data indicated that 27 of 33 patients (82%) (the 65% TCA group) and 30 of 32 patients (94%) (the 100% TCA gro
  4. hm..i think 30% is strong, but more effective than lower percentages. I've done a pretty large patch on my face that size witht the 30, and it worked well and improved my skin tone. I just want a really nice refresher of my skin before school starts.
  5. I did TCA Cross on Friday, and my scabs will hopefully come off by next Friday. I also want to perform TCA Peel afterwards to improve the general texture of my skin and smooth out the bumps I couldn't get. Basically, how long do you think I should wait between doing my TCA Cross treatment and performing my TCA peel? I understand that you can perform cross every 3 weeks, but I'm curious if you can use the TCA peel sooner b/c it's not as strong. I sure hope so. I'm going back to school in 3 weeks!
  6. I used a toothpick to apply my TCA Cross today. I put the toothpick a little into the pore, but now the pores look larger. Is that normal? Will a scab form and the pore shrink? I'm kind of worried. I thought that that's what I was supposed to do.
  7. For a while, I was really depressed about my acne. REALLY DEPRESSED--to the point where I thought that I should stop caring about my looks, forget about ever being pretty again, and just channel all my energy to academia. The thing is that I always thought of myself of a very attractive person; I could get men easily and felt proud walking down the street. And then I got acne. And then I got the consequent red marks. And then I got frustrated, picked a few, and got the scars. The scars weren't
  8. I had dermabrasion done a year and a half ago. It ruined one huge part on my left cheek, where it left this brown patch the size of 2 quarters. I'm really worried and depressed about it. Will it remain like that forever? Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? I'm pretty sure it's permanent.
