  1. hahahahaha... The more you write the more ignorant *moderator edit* you sound. Oh wait, I'm sorry your dermatologist told you diet has nothing to do with acne, and we all know that he/she just cares about your own personal health and interest. It's a good thing that when she tells you to try retina and recommends antibiotics and maybe even accutane, she is really just doing it to help you and has nothing to gain. For the other person who said that the people that got cleared by diet are liars,
  2. hahahahahaha, good for you if you don't get acne but I promise you that sooner or later that horrible diet with insulin spikes will negatively effect you in one way or another (obesity, diabetes, cancer...etc...)In fact, in my honest opinion Acne is probably the best disease to have in terms of our body warning us that something is just not right
  3. the reason why Niacin can work in some people is because it stimulates the release of hydrochloric acid in your stomach allowing it to digest your food and therefore not leave any excess of undigested food in your gut to feed bacteria/fungi etc... the problem is your body begins to adapt to the dosage of niacin after a while and one has to constantly increase their dosage to notice the same results
  4. i did 8 weeks ketogenic diet...and my acne did not get better... nevertheless keto rocks when dieting...u dont crave sweets, have enough energy for training...for cutting the ketogenic diet is the way to go! all i ate: beef, steak, chicken, whey protein, whole omega3 eggs,10-15g fischoel, macadamia nut oil and some extra virgin olive oil - and some green veggies on the side. everyone should do a lowcarb diet for some time per year to level down insulin restistance.. Not trying to be mean bu
  5. Calm down, no one is going to call you a liar or a scammer. Different things work for different people. That being said, of course I've tried eating zero carbohydrates before! I only ate fish, coconut oil, olive oil, and nuts and drank decaf tea and lemon water. I was still not clear after a month and a half, but I had gained weight and found that I was extremely fatigued and felt foggy all the time. I went back to carbohydrates and felt a ton better, lost weight, and my brain felt clear. Ma
  6. I don't care who you are, what gender, race or your age, as long as your human if you completely cut out all Carbs from your diet after 4 weeks your acne will be significantly reduced if not completely gone. It's what I did and my face is completely clear now, all of you can say that what helped me, might not help others well i disagree and i really doubt anybody here has even tried 4 weeks of completely no carbs. That means no ice cream, no junk food but it also means no veggies, no fruits, no
  7. did some research today and found some more contradictory evidence that makes me wonder even more if i'm following the right diet at healingnaturallybybee.com. This is basically saying that in order to kill candida one has to lower fat intake and increase vegetables and fruits. http://stanford.wellsphere.com/complementa...t-theory/458825
  8. Well im back on it and i've been on it now for 2 weeks and still have no energy. You said that carbs are the body's preferred source of energy so does this mean that as long as im on the candida diet, and therefore using fat as fuel, i will not be able to do strenuous exercise, gain muscle and strength? are you on a candida diet glass danse?
  9. thank you all for the advice but i'm still so confused because there is so much contradictory advice out there. By following the anti candida diet on healingnaturallybybee.com my skin improves and my acne starts to disappear but my energy and strength also decrease. Do you guys think that maybe i'm just benefitting from avoiding dairy, sugar, and processed foods. Maybe i would be okay eating fruit, vegetables and unprocessed carbs like wheat and oats? i just don't know what to do because if i'm
  10. well what you guys are saying makes sense in fact i know my energy has decreased and also my strength but doesn't carbs feed candida?
  11. I've been following a low carb, high fat diet and it has helped a lot with my acne probably cause i do believe im suffering from candida due to long term use of acne antibiotics (kinda ironic) the problem is that my workouts have been suffering and my energy and strength seems to have decrease and this bothers me cause i train mixed martial arts and i dont like the fact that it seems like there has to be a tradeoff between clear skin and training hard with good results. I was just wondering if t
  12. ya, i agree, drugs are never the answer, if it wasnt for the fact that i was put on 2 different antibiotics when i was 15 for 2 different years i would not be struggling with candida and folliculitis (that looks just like acne) right now. I was on accutane last december for exactly 10 days and got off of it because more than just chapped lips it was making my knee joints hurt really bad and once i looked on the internet i saw that there were many side effects. Whether it works or not, i'm not c
  13. hey brenton, just out of curiosity if you looked at your tongue in the mirror right now would it be coated white (thrush) or is it pinkish/reddish (the color a tongue should be)?
  14. "The only requirement is that the apples must be Red Delicious or Golden (red grapes can be substituted by those people allergic to apples) since they have more pectin to absorb the toxins in your system as your body digests them." "What you will need: 1) 10 or more Red Delicious Apples PER DAY! Peel them before you eat them since most apple skins commercially produced have been sprayed with pesticides. (Jonathan will work as well.) 2) 3 Fleet enemas or whatever brand is available or an enema ba
  15. oh wow, then ya i guess that makes sense and what you had was most likely candida cause i too was put on doxycycline for 1 year followed by another year of tetracycline which wiped out all my good bacteria allowing candida to spread once i was done, so i was wondering about the acne free in 3 days book, i had heard of it before but i didnt buy it because i read the reviews on this forum and they were pretty bad saying that it didnt work and it was a scam but then i saw this video on youtube ->
  16. hey brenton, i was just wondering when you were younger did you take antibiotics for long periods of time like tetracycline and doxycycline? if not, how do you know that what you had was candida? and do you think that your candida is now cured completely?
  17. hey, first i want to thank you for the answers and also thank you for doing what you're doing because most people after achieving clear skin would leave this place and enjoy life (can't really blame them) but instead you're doing tests on yourself to help us. I apologize in advance but i have more questions lol, Ok, when i was following the healingnaturallybybee diet i was having constipation problems which is probably due to the lack of fiber, now that im going back on the diet seeing how in
  18. Hey Brenton its funny that you're kinda being like a guinea pig and testing the diet-acne connection on yourself cause two months ago i started on the healingnaturallybybee diet and supplements and it cleared my skin to like 96% but for some stupid reason ive been eating bad the past 3 days (i kinda wanted to test out how connected my acne and the diet was and i also thought that maybe i had overcome candida) well it turns out that just after 3 days of not sticking to the diet and by this i mean
  19. So what about www.healingnaturallybybee.com which talks about how good coconut oil is for the body?
  20. I know this is long but please take 5 minutes to read it as it probably affects you. Thanks ok, i don't know about you guys but i think Candida has become a profit industry for many people. Don't get me wrong, i do believe Candida is a serious issue and i believe that i do suffer from it (I was on 2 straight years of Antibiotics:1 year doxycycline and 1 year tetracycline) however i've spent the last 3 weeks of my life researching about candida on different websites and talked to different nutri
  21. hey, since when can you not eat red meat and fish?? i would say go to this website http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php and just insert as many amounts of these foods a day until you reach a 3000 calory diet and probably change it up a bit for every day so your tastes buds dont get bored. Also, almonds are kinda controversial...
  22. i talked to my naturopathic nutritionist and she said that the problem with the probiotics u buy in capsules are taken and cultivated from animal intestines therefore they are not the same as the human made ones so ur body will not keep them, it will use some of them and excrete the rest
  23. if u were to have a candida overgrowth then ur body isn't able to absorve food nutrients properly cause its mostly being eaten by the yeast so therefore you have to eat a lot more than a normal person would, the problem withb this is that by eating more u are probably eating foods that feed the yeast and allowing them to reproduce and grow and produce more alcohol in your body
  24. ya i've been taking two spoons of apple cider vinger in water twice a day for exactly 12 days now and all i can say is that it has just been making it worse but ive read from some people that it might just be a purging phase so as much as it sucks im going to stick with it for at least a month since the original poster "happygurl" said it took her 3-4 weeks until it worked completely so hopefully this stuff works...
