  1. hey I don't necessarily have good news... but I can for sure sympathize with you. I've been on about every birth control that's out there; yaz is what I'm currently on and have been for about a year and some odd months. I still break out pretty bad when my cycle comes around... but I've noticed that I always get the really painful pimples and cysts especially. I'm actually thinking about getting off of the pill, but I'm still a little nervous when I think about what might happen. I have sort o
  2. Ahhh sorry it's been so incredibly long since I've commented on this... but I've been extremely busy with life & such. For anyone who might come across this, I still use the 2 cleansers that I talked about I believe last year some time. I have been using them for quite a while, and for the most part am pleased. I still break out, especially close to my cycle, but nothing near as bad as I used to. I think I'll always search for the next best thing though... who won't?
  3. You all are ridiculous. If you don't agree, then fine...But you must have some sort of a doubt in your mind that maybe he is right or else you wouldn't feel the need to defend Accutane as much as you are. If you thought it was amazing or you think it's going to be your miracle, more luck to ya. Don't waste your time being rude and nasty just because some are speaking up with nothing less than the truth. I definitely do believe that you are suffering from these joint pains from Accutane Sheefa. I
  4. I actually just stopped using duac. I used it along with a gentle cetaphil wash for about 3-4 months. I did notice at first that it helped some but then my skin must have gotten used to it because it totally stopped. But maybe it will work for you! Good Luck!
  5. I was reading an old post from a few years ago, the other day. This guy said that he had been using 2 products from clean & clear; the blackhead clearing scrub and the complete control wash. The blackhead clearing scrub has 2% SA and the other wash has 10% BP... it sounds like a lot but it doesn't really irritate your skin. All I know is that I've only been using them for 2 days and my skin looks better than it ever has. What I do is use the blackhead scrub in the morning and then at night
  6. Well from what I've read, you sound extremely sweet and just need a small push to be more personable and social. Don't let your acne and all that dumb stuff keep you from living, you only have one life... ya know? I used to let it get to me a lot... to the point where I wouldn't leave the house or anything but at some point you just have to realize that the people who are worth being around are going to love you for who you are. This girl doesn't sound like someone you want to settle down with t
  7. Well, I've been going to the doctors for the past month because we've finally figured out why I'm always nausiated and not feeling very well...hyperthyroidism. From what they have told me, your thyroid produces hormones, and mine produces way too much and causes my body to basically freak out. Just a few weeks ago I noticed that my skin is becoming a lot worse than it ever has been and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with my regimen or it's a cause of the disease... does anyone know a
  8. I agree with everyone, I don't really know what's wrong with the shape of your eyebrows though... but whatever! You definitely don't have anything to worry about!
  9. That's no good, I would definitely have a doctor or derm look at it. I'm sure it will get better though!
  10. Wow I've never heard of bathing in sea salt, sounds like it really works though. I'm definitely going to have to give that a try!
  11. Yeah I used to be the same way... Like I let it control my life and everything that I did. But I've learned that acne doesn't make you who you are, sure it might be there and it may be noticeable, but true friends/ boyfriends, will love you for you if they are worth having. Don't miss out on your birthday! I've done that too many times and I always regret it, but the fact is... that is your day and you will be beautiful on it! SO HAVE FUN!
  12. Alright, so when I first ordered Acnexus, it was basically because it was all natural and I had just begun to read a few of the first testimonials (too bad I didn't keep reading to find out the "consequences"). I just got it a few days ago, and have been using it as it says to. My skin usually reacts to products and treatments within a few days, instead of a few weeks or months... So I'll pretty much know whether it's going to help or just screw up my face. With acnexus I was pretty pleased beca
  13. Well the birth control pills can be perscribed by your regular physician or your gynocologist. I'm not sure if the dermatologist can perscribe them or not. When you get them you will need to pick a day that you want to start taking them, this is usually in relation to when you stop your menstrual cycle. Like if you stop your menstrual cycle on Monday then you can start taking the pill on Tuesday... do you understand? But don't worry about everything, it will all work out just fine I'm sure. And
