  1. soulcysters.net forum for women with pcos. I think I have pcos as well and after reading that forum I am taking a more active role with my dr in finding out. good luck to everyone!
  2. not an option. I do...I've used benzaclin and it helped to clear up break outs fairly quick, but I can't say it ever prevented them. I use an exfoliating scrub containing benzoyl peroxide (2.5%) in the morning, and at night I use a face wash with salicylic acid (2%) and glycolic acid (5%). I also use duac (morning) and finacea (night). I am more happy with these than I was with benzaclin. I'll look into the finacea, but from everything I've read duac is the same as benzaclin, but ma
  3. I've never taken Accutane, but please listen to your OB/GYN, and not people on a message board. This is your future child's health and life you are thinking about! And an OB/GYN, well it's their job to care for women before, during and after pregnancy. I've used these boards for advice too, but people don't always know what they're talking about. Accutane has serious side effects for pregnancy and the child afterward, is it really worth the risk? Good luck!
  4. Aquage products! You can get them at some salons.
  5. www.hsu.com she has a set of pills and supplements to do internal cleansing. I don't think you need to do the whole system, it costs about $226, which is too much for me, but I am going to start a few of the products especially liver, colon, and parasite cleanse. Good luck!
  6. I just got a prescription LoEstrin Fe (well, the generic, Microgestin Fe) too. I used to be on LoEstrin 24 Fe, and that stuff was rad, 'cause I didn't get my period at all. But right now, I'm in the same boat as you--just waiting to get my period so I can start taking it. My Dr. gave me Loestrin Fe as well, so as soon as a I start my period I will start taking it and hope it helps!
  7. I was wondering how many of you have hormonal cystic acne? and if you've used benzaclin? also, what face washes have you found to work the best for you! Thanks! FYI: I have a once in a lifetime huge vacation in just under two months and really need to at least clear up for the most part. Thanks!
  8. I went through this too, wanting to be able to find a good shampoo/conditioner at Wal-Mart and I will tell you, from experience just suck it up and go to a salon and buy Aquage. I use the Vitalizing Shampoo and Healing Conditioner I love it. I use Suave once or twice a week just because I like how clean it makes my hair feel, but I still follow with the Healing conditioner. Good luck!
  9. Thanks everyone for your input! We will probably not ttc again till next year, so I can deal with the bcp till then. I just went to the dr. today and she put me on loestrin fe...I have to wait for my period to start before starting it but here's to hoping!
  10. I'm new to the site, but I've been searching it and basically the entire internet for some kind of solution. I had never had acne till about 10 months after I had my daughter, and she is almost 3 now, and now I get cysts on my chin and some by my nose. I have tried EVERYTHING, from Proactiv, AcneFree, Neutrogena Advanced Solutions, Clean & Clear...you name it I tried it. I am currently washing with Dove Soap or Cetaphil Antibacterial Cleanser Bar and then using Benzaclin. I haven't seen much
