  1. Hey, thanks for the reply. Is the effect temporary or permanent? I have read conflicting reviews about it.
  2. I'm considering it as well since a lot of people here rave about dermarolling. But I wonder if buying acupuncture needles would have the same effect for less money though...
  3. Hey guys, in your experience, does topical Hyaluronic Acid help with scarring? If so, how long does it take to see results and if not what are some other recommendations to minimize the appearance of scars?
  4. Oh and one more question about the magnesium citrate...how does it dry? Does it get absorbed into your skin, or does it create a film over it?
  5. Do any of you use a primer first? How do you keep it from peeling? It gets all funky on me.
  6. I tried MoM all over and it dried me out and left flakes on my face so now I just focus it on spots. For people who use it as a primer, how much do you water it down to get rid of the chalkiness? I never heard of using magnesium citrate before. Does it really get rid of scaring? I googled it and couldn't find anything.
  7. Hey, I just have another quick question. Does anyone else have a problem with their primer peeling off at the mere touch of it? I've been attempting to use primer, but I've found that if my face is tapped just slightly, I get a million little football shaped pebbles, and when I try to rub them off, it just causes more and it looks like my face is peeling! How can I prevent this?
  8. Thanks so much for the advice, Amber! I'll look into meow cosmetics. If anyone else has tips on reducing ugly shadowing in bad lighting, I'd love to hear them.
  9. Any suggestions for good light reflecting makeup? In industrial overhead lighting or outdoors in the sun, I sometimes get weird shadowing below my eyes and on my forehead, and I look years older than I am (I'm young...I don't want to look old)! I never noticed this before until I saw unflattering pictures of myself outside, and now I paranoid about it. Are there any makeup products that I can place over these areas to reduce shadowing and are gentle enough to not cause acne?
  10. I heard that baby shampoo applied twice a day to under eye milia will help remove the problem. I was curious if this actually works. Has anyone tried it? I know that most skin specialists claim the only way to get rid of milia is to have your skin punctured and then have the fat proteins removed, but if there are less painful alternatives I'd like to try them first. I mean, if babies are able to get rid of their milia without laser treatment, there must be a way for adults/teenagers to do so a
  11. Thanks so much for the advice everyone! I have a lot of new tricks to experiment with now.
  12. How do I get the powder out of those sample containers? I get such a small sprinkling that it takes me forever to apply my foundation. Do you guys take the sifter off the samples when you get them? I'm concerned that if I do that, it'll end up spilling out.
  13. Hmm, maybe I should start hitting the cosmetic counters.
  14. ^ Yeah, I recently bought the three pack of the chafing gel off amazon because I read such great things about it being used as a primer. It doesn't seem to make a difference on me though. Not sure why since it seems to work for everyone else.
