  1. well guys it's been about a month since i've posted this topic, and have been taking optimum whey for about 3 weeks and for me at least it's safe to say it does not cause breakouts. however, don't take my word for it because people all have different responses to their body. i'm just fortunate this isn't one of my aggravates.
  2. First off you shouldn't be touching your face! As hard as it sounds, you should restrain yourself from doing that. I personally think the balling up is a mix of exfoliating skin + AHA + BP if being all used at once. It is being absorbed and don't worry about it, let it work its magic. I've had significant changes in my skin from using this product, give it around 2 weeks.
  3. Putting it in the fridge isn't meant to "enhance" the BP in any way. It's just a preference of if you want a nice cooling feeling on your face to top off your regimen.
  4. It took me about 2 weeks to notice that the AHA was working. Just today it struck me on how MUCH it has reduced my dark/brown spots from my old acne scars. This has literally been the first and only product that has worked for me.
  5. Like the title states does is anyone taking this protein powder and having any negative effects on their acne? I've been looking around and there seems to be mixed opinions on whether whey protein shakes cause breakouts. Let me remind you this is not a meal replacement shake but a pure whey protein shake that only contains 1 g of sugar and 120 calores overall per serving.
  6. i posted this earlier but didn't get a reply. so here it is - i see so it's all right to have about 2 cups a day? i was thinking maybe one for the morning and one before or after workouts. have you ever tried adding brewed tea or cranberry juice to your smoothies? they might not give you any flavor boosts or anything (actually to think of it they would probably make the smoothie not as tasteful with the cranberry juice being very tart/bitter and tea is bland), but both contain beneficial ingre

  8. about how many 8 oz cups of the green smoothie should you drink a day? i saw on the the introduction post that you should consume 6-8 cups a day but that sounds like a lot liquid intake if you want to combine it with your daily 6-8 cups of water a day.
  9. the reason people go from calling you all the time to not even bothering to contact you at all is simply because they just think you'll say NO to them with whatever occasion they're having. don't think about it as losing your friends, it's just that they think you're busy with other things to do. don't let acne take over your social life. they're your friends (they won't judge you on how you look and if they do re-consider who they really are to you), have fun and enjoy the rest of your summer.
  10. minocycline and benzaclin have worked miracles for me and a friend of mine. i'm pretty sure you won't need to use a face wash with BP. just use a gentle face wash like stated above and apply the benzaclin morning and night after you wash.
  11. it's hard to see anything on my face with flash really. hehhh all you out there look great, keep your heads up!
  12. Could anyone shed some light on what difference between these two lasers are? I know for a fact the Fraxel Re:pair laser is a lot stronger than the two due to it being a CO2 laser, but from what I see the re:store and microlaser peel lasers are simliar. Thank you for your time guys!
