  1. I understand how you feel. Sometimes, I feel miserable too. I'm almost 21 years old, but acne never leaves me. Try to think positively and don't give up.
  2. How serious is your acne? If your pimples are mild, icing is not necessary. I use ice on severe acne only, and I use ice on my acne directly. It's not really effective for me.
  3. I have the same problem as you and I'm about your age. Cleansers don't really work for me. They can clear excess sebum , but at the same time causing your skin to produce more, so your face becomes more oily in just a few hours after you wash your face. Try not to use too many products at the same time.
  4. Can someone explain to me what glycemic index (GI) is? What effects does a high glycemic index have on acne sufferers? Is it better to eat food with low glycemic index? What kinds of food have high glycemic index? Food with high content of carbohydrates?
  5. For those who win the battle against acne, I would like to know how you clear acne. Which is the best or the most effective way for each of you? I know, different people react differently to different regimens. I'm suffering from facial acne and I have persistent red marks on my face. Also, anyone knows an effective way of clearing red marks? Hope you all can share your experience in treating acne with me.
  6. The use of expired product should be avoided. I'm sure you can buy a new one.
  7. Hydrogen peroxide is not an organic peroxide. It does not even contain carbon. Other than that, I don't know much about it. I suggest you do a research before using it.
  8. I can share my experience with you. I also have oily skin. Over-washing only causes more irritation and more breakouts. Now, I wash my face twice a day. When I feel stressed, my face also produces more sebum, which is irritating. So, I suggest you try to reduce your stress.

  10. I don't know any cleanser with coconut oil, but coconut oil is comedogenic, ie it clogs pores.
  11. A list of comedogenic ingredients can be found at http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm
  12. I don't think animals care what acne is because they don't know what it is. Cheer up. Acne is not the end of the world.
  13. I think I had the same experience as you. I began using 'OXY Deep Cleansing Wash' last year, but I didn't use the whole set of OXY products. Now, I quit using it. After using it for a year, I realized that the product contains potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide (both are strong alkalis). So, I guess the pH isn't suitable for the skin. Also I did a search for the list of comedogenic ingredients on the internet. The product I used actually contains some of them. I really regret using the pro
  14. Well, I had been using 'OXY Deep Cleansing Wash' to wash my face for a year. It didn't help much. My face became more oily and I got more breakouts. I suggest you read the ingredients first before using the product. Also, make sure it has a suitable pH (pH 5.5).
