  1. I had my final (4th) treatment a few months ago and was upset because I didn't see much of an improvement.....but was then told that it can take several months for the full results to show. I can't really say that I'm happy with my results, but I'm trying to be optimistic that if I wait a few more months my ice pick scars will improve even more. I'd say I only see about a 10% improvement at the moment. If anyone else has had Fraxel laser treatments could you please post your results here? How
  2. Trust me, I know the feeling. I used to wash my face, and then 30 minutes later you could see droplets of oil coming out of my pores. It was nasty. The B5 isn't perfect, but it's definitely a big improvement. Now I go several hours without looking all greasy. I'm sorry. I know it's frustrating. I have scars, so before I started the B5 regimen the oiliness showed my scars a lot more, which was even more embarassing.
  3. You have no idea how amazing I feel right now, guys! I've had INSANELY oily skin for over 16 years and I've finally found an relatively inexpensive way to slow down the oil production. I take 3 capsules of Pantothenic Acid capsule in the morning and 3 at night which comes to 3000mg per day. For the first month I started on 2000mg per day, but that really didn't seem to do a lot. You have to realize that my face used to be so oily that it looked as though my face was put in a tub of grease. It to
  4. Yeah, I just started using extra moisturizer a couple days ago. It's not too bad. I need to reapply every 5-6 hours, though. Even with the moisturizer that claims to last all day.
  5. I used the Ketsugo product for about 6 months, and it did absolutely nothing for my oily skin. Now that I think about it, I believe it was the first product I tried, which was about 7 or 8 years ago. Trust me, I know how you feel. Every time I wake up I feel as though I have to wash the pillow case because it's covered in oil. I'm trying the mentioned B5 regimen now. If it works I'll let you know.
  6. Hello all, I started a regimen of taking the vitamin B5 in the form of Pantothenic Acid capsules because I read numerous posts on here and elsewhere that it can reduce the production of oil in the skin. (I have incredibly oily skin, so I was pretty much desparate.) I've been taking the capsules for almost 3 weeks now, and I've noticed something kinda gross: The skin around my hairline and under my eyebrows has gotten scaley and itchy, and it's flaking pretty badly......and yet the rest of my f
  7. I'm 30 years old and have ridiculously oily skin, but only on my face. About an hour after I wash my face you can actually see tiny droplets of oil coming out of my pores. And two hours after I wash my face it looks as though I dunked my face in a bowl of vegetable oil. It's embarassing and disgusting. I've tried just about every over-the-counter product I can think of, but the only thing that seems to work is Accutane. Unfortunately I can't be taking Accutane simply to get rid of oily skin.
  8. I've only had it done on my cheeks and temples, but my pores have gotten noticably smaller. And any discoloration I had has pretty much disappeared after 4 treatments.
  9. I just finished my 4th and final treatment of Fraxel. Does anyone know how long you should wait before going on Accutane once you finish your final Fraxel treatment? I know you should be off of it for a year before getting Fraxel, but I wasn't sure if the same goes for the reverse. Also, my doctor said that it will take about 5-6 months to see the full results of the Fraxel treatments because it takes a while for collagen to "plump up". Does anyone know if Accutane slows down the process of co
