  1. I've been seeing a few of these success stories only using water.. Well my question still remains unanswered: If using only water were truly the solution, why did I get acne to begin with? I never used cleansers when I was younger, just used water morning and night to wash my face. I didn't even use cleansers when I started getting minor acne. Only when I started getting big cysts I was like omg wtf is this and started reading up on my acne stuff, and realized there were these things called cl
  2. Im using the panoxyl 10 wash as well as h&s, i only recently started using the panoxyl and am wondering if maybe that has caused the breakouts?? if you've broken out after starting to use a different product, don't apply it to that area! When I first started using h&s, I put it on my chest and my back. My back cleared up a little, but I started breaking out across my collar bones, which were never a problem before. I immediately stopped using h&s on my chest, and the acne subs
  3. I had horrible neck acne when I was in 8th grade, but somehow it all cleared up. One piece of advice: Do not use BP on the back of your neck, it is a piece of shit that didn't do anything and bleached all my polo shirt collars. I was so mad when I had to go buy new shirts because all of my favorite polos were bleached
  4. I'm in a similar situation, I have had bacne for 6 years and counting now... Tried alot of things but recently I started trying the water only method for my back. Have you ever had those days where you don't get to shower properly for 1 or 2 days and then your back seems a little better? I dunno I've had 2 or 3 of those experiences... Definitely not for everybody, but I'll try to keep you updated on how my water only regimen is going, and post up some pictures as well. Good luck with you! PS I
  5. In short, I've been trying the water only for the past 2 weeks, and its been working pretty well for my back, I think. I know, it's too early to gauge its results, but it's been working quite dramatically compared to other methods I've tried. I know you all have heard some of this floating around the message boards about not using anything but water. I'm not trying to say this is a miracle way, as I am scared to try it on my face and I don't think I ever will... but for people who have had bacne
  6. Proactiv didn't work for me either, nor did it for my best friend dan. It was the first approach when I started getting acne. We both agree that the toner is a piece of SHIT. I have had much better success with Clean&Clear facial cleansers.
  7. I used to use the 5% BP cream from neutrogena, and my skin still dried up like a mofo. I switched to C&C's bp wash, and since I dont leave it on (you just use it as a cleanser) it doesn't dry up my skin. It's been working wonders... I'm getting better results than when I used the BP cream. If BP worked so well for you, maybe you could try cleansers with BP?
  8. Morning: -Clean&Clear Blackhead Scrub -Clean&Clear Continuous Control BP(10%) Wash Lunch: -Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Night: -Clean&Clear Blackhead Scrub -Clean&Clear Continuous Control BP(10%) Wash Has been working for a little over a month, currently no pimples on my face.
  9. For those of you who don't want to read this long thread, I tried the C&C cleansers that Botchla suggested in his thread (I tried to put a link of it here but I can't figure out how), and after using it for not even a month, and have cleared up significantly over the past month. Here's a brief summary of my acne history: I have very oily skin. My acne started when I was in 5th grade. Weirdly, it was only on my scalp, where the hair grows, and nowhere else. Since the hair covered it, it w
  10. After reading up to page 7, I think I am going to give this regimen a try. I will get these products tomorrow, and give an update daily for those who want. Here's a brief summary of my acne: I have very oily skin. My acne started when I was in 5th grade. Weirdly, it was only on my scalp, where the hair grows, and nowhere else. Since the hair covered it, it was ok, but it was VERY severe, all over my scalp, I couldnt wear hats cuz of the pain. After a while, though, without any special treatmen
