  1. Hello, Does anyone use this to wash your face? Is it good?
  2. you dont have to roll year round..your plan sounds good.. thanks for your reply. i have a question, two or 3 day after rolling, does your scars seem to be more pittted?
  3. do i have to continue rolling on a yearly basis? it's been 7 months now since i first started. i'm going to continue again around april or may for another year. and i might stop after that. is this ok? i understand you dont have to do it on a yearly basis for scars, but if you're doing it for wrinkles then you'd have to.
  4. sorry to be asking this, but can you needle right after using the dermaroller or needle first and then dermaroller?
  5. is 4mm a little too long? dermarollers are only up to 2mm right? or will a 4mm needle penetrate deeper and better? i understand a stopper should be used as well.
  6. Almost everyone using the dermaroller for "at home" therapy reuse the roller but make sure to keep it sanitized. Your doctor could be using a medical model that is autoclavable. This is something you have to ask him about. Make sure you ask him if the roller is used on other patients as well. Even if his model is autoclavable, I would not want to share a roller with anyone. To me the risk of infection is just way too high. thanks for the reply. nope, its only being used on my skin. if

  8. i have a question, i've asked lamar this before but would like to know from others as well. i understand most of you use the medical dermaroller models right? do you use a new one everytime you use it on your face or you use a new one after you've used it a few times? i'm getting my dermaroller sessions from a derm and he has used the same roller 6 times now. is this alright?
  9. ah ok. how many dermaroller sessions can you have anyway? will having 20 for example improve your skin even more compared to 7 for example? how do you know when enough is enough? lol.
  10. what type of scars do you have and how ba dwould you say they were ... if you stretch the skin surroung the scar does the scar dissapear ? if they dont they will need more treatment then the ones thath do. Dr chu recommend tca for the few 'fixed' scars that i have (non stretchable) and dermaroller for all the other ones also .. what topicals are you using ? i'm not too sure what kind they are, probably ice pick i think. they dont dissapear much when i stretch my skin. you mean i'll nee
  11. i've had five so far and i think it has helped with scars on my upper cheek, but the ones on the lower cheek still look very much pitted. could it be because they're deeper?
  12. does using the dermaroller only help improve the appearance of scars, as in help with the color where it doesnt appear as red or does it actually help fill up the "holes" as well?
  13. thanks for the reply i dont know which to choose honestly..i'm deciding between gentle cleansers and aha based ones like this: http://www.oceanhealth.com/skincare_theraderma_index.shtml or probably the neostrata one for aha based and sebamed as well as cetaphil (for normal to oily skin) as gentle cleansers. will appreciate opinions.
  14. i eat white rice all the time, its what we eat where i live..i dont think it has ever bothered my skin before to be honest but i'm trying to eat more vege with lesser rice now.
  15. Hello, I'm currently undergoing dermaroller sessions, i was wondering if its safe to use an aha based cleanser or should i use something gentle?
