  1. Unfortunately didn’t work

    There is some research indicating a link between dairy and acne, however I’ve been dairy free for 6 years and did not notice any improvement in my skin!    After being dairy free for so long, your body stops producing lactase, so you become lactose intolerant. Unfortunately now if I eat dairy I become very sick, and notice break outs… but actually stopping it did not reduce breakouts.
  2. Unfortunately didn’t work for me!

    I’ve been gluten free for 11 years and unfortunately this has never had an effect on my acne. It did help my IBS symptoms however. Glad to see it’s helped others but never worked for me. 
  3. The best treatment I’ve tried

    I’ve had acne since I was 14. At first it was mild, but after going off birth control for 3 months when I was 19, I developed cystic acne all over my cheeks and jawline. I’ve tried everything. A multitude of prescription creams, antibiotics, accutane, retinoids… some of these things helped, but came with side effects, and certainly didn’t cure it. My Doctor told me my acne was hormonal and suggested spirolactine, but I didn’t want to deal with the side effects. I’m now 27 and up until
