    Best products for mild acne?

Hi brokenarrows! I've been away from this site for awhile, mostly because my acne has improved. I tried lots of things too, and beside those large painful bumps that take so long to heal, my biggest complaint is the whiteheads that would always pop up daily around my nose, literally, every single day there would be at least one. I would pop them (I know, I know, shouldn't do that) and then I would have a big red mark where I popped it. I use several different things to control my acne, and

sarahinaz: what is mandelic acid? Most topical stuff had either very little or no effect. Thanks everyone for the tips

Maybe you could try Mandelic Acid? It's done wonders for me. I've lurked at this site for months, and after hearing about Mandelic I decided to try it. I also heard here about the 5% salicylic acid peel so I decided to try that too. The Mandelic Acid has made a huge difference, and I'm so glad for Dan and this site so that I could find out about it. I know you can get samples if you'd prefer not to buy a whole bottle. I wish you the best of luck!

I really like Avene TriXera Emollient Cream for Severely Dry, Sensitive Skin when my face is super dry (it's non comedogenic). It's kind of expensive though, but it works for me. I do really like Eucerin Calming Creme, but I can't use it on my face, as it makes me break out. It's great for the rest of your body though. I also agree with padresfan about CeraVe lotion, it's great too. Hope you find something that works! Trust me, I feel your pain... best of luck to you.
