  1. I've been on Differin .1% and Benzaclin since the beginning of the year and it cleared me up and kept me clear but I've been breaking out as of late. I've also noticed that my skin is getting more oily than it was before, specifically in the T-zone. So do they stop working over time?
  2. In my opinion it worked for my darker brown spots, they're not completely gone but they're a lot lighter. The red spots are kind of the same though. I recently bought a bottle of Alpha Hydrox Enhanced 10% AHA Lotion so I've stopped using the Palmer's lotion so I could give the Alpha Hyrdox lotion a try since I hear it works well for fading acne marks and scars. For only using the Palmer's lotion for about a month, I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
  3. I only used it once a day when I was using it and I applied a thin layer, just keep at it. If it doesn't go away within another week you know you should stop using it.
  4. Well I used the AHA on my face at night after the Differin and everything else and it was fine. The AHA didn't burn me or or irritate me at all, I was surprised. It did however make my face oily and sweaty which I do not like at all, I'd rather be dry and ashy than oily and sweaty, I hate that. I think I'm just going to use the AHA on my chest, shoulders and back. I did get a free sample of Alpha Hydroxy 12% Souffle so I'm going to try that on my face and see how it works, hopefully it won'
  5. The same thing happened to me, I got red and it seemed like it made it darker but I think my skin just got a little burned and irritated but it went away. Check out my thread: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Palmerand...lk-t199359.html
  6. No, after about a week the redness went away, I think my skin got used to it. It seems to be working so far.
  7. Hi Geronimo, Im interested in this product, I was just wondering how bad your red marks were prior to using this, and also If it lightens your skin like a skin whitening product?? or does it just lighten the hyperpigmentation, red marks..etc..? My marks are mostly brown and I would give those marks a 5 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worse. As far as I can tell, its lightening all my skin where I put it on and not just the brown marks. It's evening out my skin tone better this way. I've on
  8. I'm currently on Differin Gel .1% and BenzaClin and am using it on my face, neck, chest and shoulders. It has cleared my acne but now I'm left with the hyperpigmentation from it, specifically on my chest and shoulders. I've been using Palmers Eventone Fade Milk with 2% Hydroquinone and alpha hydroxy for the past two weeks to help fade the hyperpigmentation and I can see that its working. Now, I ordered Alpha Hydrox AHA Enhanced Lotion (10% AHA) and I'm getting it on Monday. How do you thi
  9. I think I read in the first pinned thread in this forum that red spots are different from hyperpigmentation and that acid peels and stuff like that really don't work for red spots. You might want to check that out.

  11. Hey, I've been using Palmers Eventone Fade Milk for the past 2 weeks now. It has 2% Hydroquinone and it also has alpha hydroxy in it. When I first put it on it left me a little burned and red but I'm sure it was just my skin reacting to the alpha hydroxy (acid) for the first time. I've continued to use it and it doesn't burn anymore, my skin got used to it. The fact that it has alpha hydroxy in it too is good because it will increase the rate of exfoliation, letting new skin come up faster, hel
  12. I'm on Differin Gel .1% and I have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation on my chest and shoulders. My question is, how does Differin Gel help with the fading of PIH? How does it work to do that if it does? Is it good enough to rely on it alone to help fade PIH? I recently bought Palmer's Eventone Fade Milk with 2% hydroquinone (for lightening of dark spots like PIH) and used it on my chest and shoulders and I think my skin reacted with it because it turned red and seemed to make it even darker
