  1. This is a myth and I have posted on this in the past: I did a bit of research and found a scientific study on the use of tumeric to treat acne: http://www.e-ijd.org/article.asp?issn=0019...ast=Shaffrathul The study was published in a 2007 issue of the Indian Journal of Dermatology and it found no statistical difference among participants with acne who used turmeric and those who did not. "From this study we conclude that turmeric ... has no influence on acne." Sorry if I just killed your
  2. Yea, this is fairly common I think; everywhere else on my body besides my back is very clear, I have no idea why this is.
  3. Alright so I'm prepared to give this theory a shot. For those of you who have tried not ejaculating for a while, what sort of advice would you give someone who wants to try this? Personally if I hold out for longer than a week or so I get very angry/depressed, so if anyone has some advice for holding out that would be neat. Cheers.
  4. 1) how well did it clear up acne? very minor improvement 2)how well did it clear up scars? Minor reduction of red marks 3)how soon did you see results (if there were any)? N/A 4)how quickly did it completely clear you up (if it did)? N/A 5)How/when did you use it? Apply to dry skin, left on for 5 minutes, then rinsed off in the shower. 6) for ACV: did it leave an unpleasant smell if not washed off? No, the smell fades 7) for H&S: do you have to leave it on, or rinse it off? Rinse
  5. You can't just claim to have found studies then not actually show where you found it. I might as well say that I found a study that 100% refutes the claim that ejaculation is linked to acne; but without providing the source, it is deceptive and dishonest. Thank you for being helpful on a forum designed to help people. *moderator edit*
  6. could you share a link to this 'study' that you found on google?
  7. yea neutrogena body clear body wash is worth a shot its fairly inexpensive and widely available
  8. I have an idea and I'm curious of what other people think of this: I have a strong suspicion that skin becomes adapted to treatments after prolonged use. So, I figure if I continuously mix-up the treatment then they might be more effective. For example, alternating between a BP wash, H&S, and a Salicylic wash. It's just an idea but I will try this and report how effective it is.
  9. I've used 2 bottles of this product. Initially, it was very effective but it gradually became ineffective, and now it is pretty much useless.
  10. Anyone know how possible/safe it is for fair skinned people to use a tanning bed to help with acne?
  11. Have you been treating your back whilst holding out for a month? it could be coincidental
  12. I'm in a similar boat, all the skin except for my face and arms is pretty unexposed, ie white as a ghost. I've been thinking about tanning, this might even out the colour so I don't look like so much of a freak.
