  1. It took me over 3 months of breakouts for the regimen to finally work. I thank myself every day for not quitting when I thought about it during those breakouts. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be patient and stick with it. I would hold off on adding anything for at least 3 more weeks. It is very important to let your face get really used to the three core applications (cleanser, bp, moisturizer). Best of luck.
  2. I actually don't chew. In fact I also don't drink, smoke or take any drugs. In fact, I am rather lame for a college student. When I said "It especially tends to reveal itself after I've chewed," I am referring to food.
  3. Alright guys, here's an update: success! After experimenting with combinations of over 5 different products (my pocketbook is still crying), I finally found a winning combination that has eliminated my flakiness, keeps redness down and maintains the gains I have made. Morning While in Shower: Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Very small amount of Dan's BP Cetaphil Moistuzing Cream (The Lotion was awful) Night Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Dan's BP Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion with SPF 15 and AHA I
  4. If you go on the regimen, it is essential that you stick with it for at least a couple of months regardless of what your skin looks like during that time. My skin looked like shit for the first few months then suddenly got clear and has stayed clear (I'm over 9 months in).
  5. When I was doing the full regimen it took me around 20 minutes from the start of my cleansing to the end of moisturizing at night (Without a shower) and about 30 minutes in the morning due to the addition of a shower.

  7. Since I've been using the reduced BP dosage for 2 weeks now with no outbreaks, I qm going to try and apply BP at night only, using the cleanser both at night and in the morning. I really hope this works. I'll keep ya'll posted.
  8. Wow, I am amazed by how great the community is here. Thank you much for the replies!
  9. Thank you all for the thorough responses. @Debra I've found that i can eliminate the flakiness in all areas besides my nose area by thoroughly applying the moisturizer. In other words, when I apply the moisturizer I continue to gently rub even after the moisturizer has been absorbed. While I rub, various flakes appear and, by rubbing, are gradually brushed off the skin. I rub until no more flakes come out and seem to be good for the rest of the day. A question about using the washcloth: sh
  10. Hey guys, this is my first post. However, I have been on this regimen a full eight months and, thanks to it, have completely eradicated my acne and red spots. Now, in place of my acne, I have two problems with my face. 1. I still have flaking. It's not widespread after applying the moisturizer (I use Dans), but it tends to cluster around my nostrils and in various places around the face at different times. It especially tends to reveal itself after I've chewed [edit: food]. I am current
