  1. The reason why it's banned is because African decent abuse the product by using it to lighten their skin. You have to understand that nature is build to protect itself therefore your skin produce melanin to protect the nucleus of the skin cell by sorrounding itself around it. Inhibiting the melanocyctes which produces melanin can be a trade off. You can have very even skin but you are at risk on getting cancer because of UVA/UVB rays.   3. Hi, I get a lot of sunburns and I have hyperpigmentation from previous acne but its not very noticeable. I did a peel last month and my skin was very clear however there's one spot where its red. I'm part Asian/White and I have a very fair skin. I'm very active and I'm always out on the sun.
