  1. Hope I'm not too late for you. i've tried this product and it completley ruined my skin. I don't know if I just had a bad reaction to BP as I've always used Salylicacid but... I regret the day I ever laid eyes on that product. Before, I only had about 1 or 2 pimples... my problem was that i ALWAYS had 1 or 2 pimples. so I bought the carleys after reading such fabulous reviews. my skin broke out so bad and was so sore. I continued to use it, thinking that it was just an initial breakout or some

My doctor didn't mention it but now I see where it can cause problems with the liver and kidney. Do you guys think this is a safe med to take??

  4. alex, i AM grateful that my acne isn't severe, trust me. who says i'm not grateful!? i feel like some people on this site are like, SHE shouldn't be on this website because her acne isn't even severe at all. wtf is up with that..? i don't like it when people are resentful (or something?!) towards me about this shit & i hate it when people say they don't know why i'm on accutane. i am on accutane because i've been dealing with cystic acne for years. i've tried EVERYTHING else (all antibioti
  5. i've been on spiro for 5 months now.. 100 mg the first 2 weeks of that, and then 200 mg from then on. around month 3 i thought it was working, but the last month or 2 have been pretty bad. i'm thinking i should have seen results by now. if anything, i'm getting MORE acne in the hormonal area (chin) than i ever did before taking it. do you think i should give up on it.. or maybe add in a BCP? i always wondered whether the BCP made the spiro more effective, or if it was only just to help reg
  6. Yeah, it can be hard to tell.. especially when it's about a small company like Carley's. Thanks for your info. though. I hope I have success like you.

  9. You've been struggling with acne for a lifetime, are now clear, and THEN decide to sign up for an acne message board to post 1 post advertising Carley's?? Sorry.. and maybe I'm wrong.. but sounds like an ad to me. I actually started Carley's today, and I really hope I'm not doing it based on the many, many positive reviews if they're fake. It's so hard to know.....
  10. no my skin went back to normal after stopping retin a for a couple weeks. still broke out, but no worse than before.. and the stupid flaking, dryness went away.
  11. hey! i've had maybe 11 treatments or so. at least that, but i've lost count over the past several months. to sum it up, in the beginning it worked great. i knew that within a couple days of getting it ALL the active stuff on my face would flatten out and go away.... but within the last month, it hasn't quite worked like that. i'm breaking out more now than when i started the treatments, which is pretty discouraging. it could be a number of things.. i also take spironolactone, and i've read wher
  12. hey! my doctor prescribed it for me too, but i was on so many other medications i opted not to take it. now i'm thinking maybe i should. make sure to let me know if it keeps working for you.
  13. I got mine from a local health store. You can get probiotics at GNC and stuff but I wasnt impressed with their selection. I've heard you need the kind that needs to be refrigerated, and my GNC doesn't have anything like that. Check around town for some little health store. I didn't even know this one existed til I looked
