  1. I used to lurk here years back, haven't been on in awhile. Then yesterday in one of my Facebook groups a woman posted about her frustration with acne, so I took the time to tell her how I got clear. Thought I'd copy and share here in hopes of helping someone also battling the beast. I had acne for 15 years. Sometimes it was mild, sometimes horrible. Read everything, tried everything. It was terrible. I've found finally that these 3 things keep it clear. If I slack, it comes back. I also st
  2. I haven't read into it, but I just saw on the news a story about a scientific report that says people with acne have longer telomeres, a kind of thing that protects dna damage. Which means looking younger and living longer. So, score! Finally something good. Hahaha
  3. Mine was as bad as yours for a long time. I wrote this for a few other ppl on here but I want to share what has worked for me as much as possible, so I'll copy it below: What helps me the most is taking omega 3 with every meal, and lots of it. 4-6 caps of sundown naturals omega 3, with every meal. Topicals I find are the best are cerave wash, Stridex in the red box (this will break you out at first, it's bringing all the yuck to the surface. Don't give up too quickly. It took al

It took almost a month but was worth it), and cerave moisturizer when the liquid from the Stridex pad has dried. Good luck!

  6. @humanhelperist, this is offensive, and not the purpose of this site. The original post was meant to help others, not provide a platform for you to tell your sexual fantasies. With all due respect, please stop.
  7. Well, maybe people aren't used to hearing an opinion. Generally clear skin is considered ideal. And don't be hard on yourself, it's not your job to make others feel better. We're all doing what we can here.
  8. My dad jokes with me like that. Every year on my birthday, he says "It only took (my age) years for you to get this ugly!" Lol and he says stuff like "You were the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. Wonder what happened." Soooo funny, Dad. Even after the 100th time. Lolol
  9. oh that's terrible! *hugs* I'm sorry she did that to you. That's the problem with people who don't have it. They think it's easily 'fixed' by just any old thing on the store shelf.
  10. A week or so ago I saw a comment under a story on the Internet, I don't recall where, but I copied it to share with my facebook friends. It just occurred to me that some of you good people could really get some insight from it as well. Although it's aimed to women, it's absolutely true for men as well. I know this from experience, having known both men and women who just couldn't see past their 'flaws' to their own inherent beauty. Anyway, here's the comment: "I have a theory on why some women
  11. My costume was already decided on, I just put on regular makeup and went. It was fine, I guess all this social stuff really is just in our minds most of the time. No one else cares, why should we? I will at least try not to from now on also, I made my costume pic my profile picture, wonder if anyone can guess who I was???
  12. I think much much higher doses of omega 3 especially are needed as well. Idk about the B5. I've read here it works but once I heard I could lose my hair that was the end of that! I also take 10k of D3 a day but I'm not sure if it does anything.
  13. I don't know, sounds interesting. Did you ever start drinking it again with the same results?
