  1. Have you tried a topical retinoid? Accutane is just an oral version of it basically so maybe just applying it to your face would give you the benefits without the systemic problems ?
  2. Hey! I can see why you're hesitant to stay on an abx for so long, I would be too! I've battled the acne fight since the 6th grade, (I'm 26), and I finally just bit the bullet and started accutane this summer. I've just always had mild to moderate persistent acne on my face, chest, and back, and I finally just couldn't take it anymore. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!   3. I would recommend microneedling!! It works wonders for pitted scars and pigmentation! I would say that microneedling with PRP is the most effective but it is also much more expensive and does weird people out often (also known as the vampire facial). I've seen amazing results for a lot of patients that do this treatment regularly/about once a month until they're happy with their skin! It's a little pricey but totally worth it - make sure you're going to a respected and legit dermatologist to get
