  1. Hello, everyone! I haven't posted in awhile because I have finally found something that works! I remember feeling so disheartened at the height of my acne issues, so I am hoping someone will benefit by seeing that there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel! Last year at this time (From November 07-February 08) my skin was just miserable. I took a couple shots at my worst so that I would be able to track my journey. Of course, I only lasted a few days because I ended up getting really de
  2. I'm very happy that Accutane worked so well! And I'm glad you found a great girl!
  3. Ouch! I know you said it isn't painful, but it certainly looks painful! It shouldn't scar if you don't play with it, but it could take months and months to go away. I would try and get some money and go to the derm.
  4. I bought one about 8 months ago, and it was the best 1,000 yen that I ever spent (about 10 US dollars). They have a habit of coming back pretty often, but it works really well.
  5. Hello! Months later I am back here because my skin is basically completely clear!! I deleted the pictures because they were showing up in Google through my common user name. Right now I have one little one near my chin and some blackheads on my nose, but other than that I am very clear. My current issue is my weight (I gained weight when I was depressed because of the acne) and some pretty bad scarring. I am on a diet and using Vitamin E and the Neutrogena Wave to work on the scarring. I will
  6. I searched for this, but I didn't see anything. I bought this today, because I am a sucker for advertising, and it actually made my skin feel a bit better! I am hoping that using it twice a day will help get rid of some of my blackheads. Has anyone tried this? Any results?
  7. I don't consider myself fluent, but I am conversational. I couldn't walk into a business meeting and understand everything that was going on, because I don't have that sort of vocabulary, but I understand enough that I knew when people were talking about "that silly gaijin with the nose ring!" My school was near Roppongi, in Minato-ku, and I lived in Shinagawa, near Oomori-Eki. I didn't ever really go out to Roppongi though, too many gaijin. I usually went out in Shinjuku or Shibuya. I miss J
  8. Hello! I saw the Japanese in the title and had to stop by. I'm a Japanese major, currently finishing my third year at college and I got back from study abroad in Japan in December. I lived in Tokyo, and went to school near Roppongi. My laptop isn't Japanese enabled, so I cannot type in Japanese, and I hate romanji, so I'll just stick with English!
  9. So far it has been about a month since I first got the burns on my eyes. They are mostly healed now, but still a little red from where the blisters are. I have been using Prefer-On, which is supposed to help heal scars. I also moisturize them like crazy. I also use a topical steroid sometimes to take down the redness, but I don't use it very often because it thins skin. My skin is looking even better still, I should take new pictures soon!
  10. My skin has been terribly dry due to topicals and antibiotics and the Aveeno, while I love it, wasn't cutting it. I bought Olay Active Hydrating Cream about a week ago and my skin is no longer dry and flaky! It even helped the eczema on my neck. The box says it won't clog pores and so far I haven't had any new breakouts. Just wanted to pass the info along!
  11. Are there any before/after pictures? I'm probably going to buy this when I find a store that sells it, I don't really want to buy online.
  12. It does not burn my skin, it is very gentle. It is a soy based formula.
  13. The best moisturizer I have found is Aveeno Positively Radiant. It really works well without breaking me out and helps the overall tone of my skin.
  14. I didn't use either product on my eyes, but the dermatologist said that reactions can happen anywhere. For instance, I am allergic to shellfish and when I eat it my eyes and throat swell, even though I didn't rub it on my eyes. Some of the makeup or Acnomel could have flaked onto my eyes and caused the reaction.
  15. Okay, whoa. You need to get yourself to a doctor and fast. We all know that Accutane can cause suicidal thoughts. Please, go talk to your derm or a psychiatrist. Someone.
