  1. Back when I had long straight hair, I would constantly get Avril Lavigne. Now it's either Mischa Barton or Kirsten Dunst (both of whom I find wayy too pretty to look like me..).
  2. Losing weight is about motivation and will power - there are so many nutritionists, diets and help for over-weight people. There is no cure for acne, and no guarantee that it will be gone. So I'd choose overweight.
  3. Moisturizer moisturizes skin, sure, but what about getting rid of stubborn flakes? I get those often, especially now that winter's approaching. Normal exfoliation + moisturization doesn't seem to be doing the trick. What should I do?
  4. It annoys me when people complain about 2 zits. My cheek area is completely covered with red marks, clogs, and pustules/papules. I know that without acne, I'm actually cute. This is just a straight out fact - acne covers my skin and makes me look unhealthy and sickly. I get so depressed when teens with mild acne complain about how horrid it is. It really isn't horrid at all until you realize it could be worse..
  5. I'm the same. I've tried so much crap and wasted so much money. BP + SA, BP+SA+AHA, plain BP, azealic acid..mandealic acid...stupid crappy shite.. I have moderate acne and a lot of it on my cheeks..plus I am porcelain, therefore it looks extra gross on me.. I'm so pissed off. Accutane is not for me unfortunately, I don't have oily skin. I have dry skin, actually.
  6. Did anyone actually try this? The retinol causing break outs is a myth, because it was actually first intetended to treat acne....not aging... I want to try it so badly, but I want to hear some comments from acne-skinned users trying this before I buy it...
  7. I have slighly dry skin with moderate acne. I WOULD NEVE GIVE UP MY Estee Lauder Futurist Foundation with SPF 15 everrrrr. It has full coverage glides on perfectly and looks great. The lightest cover is a bit too dark for my porcelain skin, but I can deal.
  8. I'd kill for acne like yours. Good luck
  9. I'm interested in that too...I've heard Clinique has a new Post-Blemish stick and have heard that it is quite successful..
  10. Neither of my parents. Well my dad gets very mild acne now and then, mostly from shaving irritation. But my aunt had mild-moderate acne.
  11. Wow, am I the youngest one here? I'm 14, turning 15 in September. I had acne since age 11, but it turned from mild to moderate-severe when I was 12.
  12. I feel so bad about myself when people with mild acne say that their skin is disgusting..
  13. Probably a 1,000.. But really, if I knew that I would have flawless skin forever, I'd pay any amount of money.
  14. I would. Looks aren't that important to me, and I know how it feels to be ridiculed for having acne, so yep.
  15. I dunno bout sea salt products, but when I spend time in the sea in the summer, my acne always improves 50%.
  16. Yeah, 2 years or 3 years back when I had no acne, everyone thought of me as such a cutie. Now, people still do think I'm pretty, but hey..make up CAN do wonders. I would never get a compliment if I went out bare faced.. It sucks knowing you can look so much better if ONLY your skin would be clear..
  17. God, that poor girl. Having acne is bad enough, and being in the public eye 24/7...that's terrible. I wouldn't be able to cope with it. She should try Accutane definitely..
  18. I wanted to ask, did anyone get any really good results from smoothbeam for moderate ACNE? I have no scars (thank god) but my mod. acne is so stubborn and ALWAYS comes back.. I don't really have time to read the whole thread..so yeah..any help is appreciated.. Some say it sucks, some say it rocks..grr..
  19. I'll try, but I'm pretty hopeless. I hate those stupid bumps so much..ehh..acne sucks.
  20. Okay, thanks for your input guys. I'll go buy garlic tomorrow..and see how things go.
