    Question about Gluten Free Diet

I am currently on a gluten free dairy free diet due to being diagnosed with celiac disease for a year now, and it takes time to get used to but there are many alternative foods out there so you can eat pizza pasta breads just made differently. There are far too many too list so I reccomend going to celiac.com great info and food lists and brands. Good luck with it, my skin is clear now with some healing redmarks but I am an adult and had different blemishes than most that were brought on from a glycolic peel as well as hormone and food allergy to wheat gluten and cow dairy, I also lost alot of weight cutting those out that I feel contributed to loosing the acne.I wish you the best luck it surely wont hurt to try

I cant believe the results after one day!!!!!!!!

I really mean it works................ for me ,of coarse as all of knows nothing works for everyone thus the cabinet full of failed products. I am the type of person that thinks natural is always better so unless you are allergic to eggs or something I think its worth a try at least. Yes its apple cidar vinegar, I only use braggs, you can find that at any health food store. And I really hope it works for you too..........oh yeah and dont over do it once in am and once in pm.
  3. Well in my past i have always dealt with hormonal breakouts 1-2 at the most on my face all the time, I was obsessed with perfect skin and didnt realize then how blessed I was.I hit my 30s and had a bit of a mid life crisis I was headed to inlaws mountain home for thanksgiving of 07 and my mother inlaw has had alot of work done, and has perfect wrinkle free skin.I had some small acne scars red marks, smile expression lines at my eyes and a dark patch of skin i wanted gone.............so stupid me bought 10% glycolic acid lotion and it was hell since, I had a bad reaction and it burned my skin and caused cystic acne on my jaw line and cheeks since november of 07,I kn ow I made it worse using microdermabrasion scrub trying to scrub the bumps away biiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake-I stopped that about a month ago and no new breakouts at all I also have celiac disease, and have completely cut out wheat gluten, dairy, refined sugars and think this has helped break the cycle but................... last night during my obsessive research findings I came across a simple skin cleansing recipie and tried it last night and cant believe my eyes, possible forming blemishes receded red marks much lighter and the few bumps I have left went down alot!!!!!! and its not because I just woke up and swelling is down(been there) My skin texture is smooth and uneven skin patches are drying up and scars seem to be diminishing but my face dosent feel dry. I think all the harsh products I was using hoping for a quick fix was making things worse and I have cut them out to see if this is my cure,I used it again this morning and same feeling same results.........so here it is my simple little saviour so far 1 tablespoon baking soda 1 egg white 1 teaspoon ACV this will foam up fast,I put it on my face GENTLY do not scrub ,its just asking for it . Let it sit on your face till it tightens up and rinse offf with lukewarm water.....thats it, hope this works for more people than me though I know its not for everyone!!!! also be carefull not to get in eyes or mouth for salmonella reasons. Well its day one I will keep you posted,I am just findidng more and more the simpler the regimine the better the results peace out.

    Glycolic Acid is EVIL!!!!!!

Yeah thank you for the good info, never used any perscription topicals or meds in my life The kicker is I bought it at a health food store from a natural skin care line, didnt think it would be as harsh as in a doctors office, but I new it peeled the top layer of skin just didnt anticipate the terrible reaction. No worries about the sun I have avoided it all my life I am really pale so any imperfection stands out, but I will tell you that stuff scared me straight only natural from here on out........thanks again for the good advice

    Glycolic Acid is EVIL!!!!!!

Well I have to say this site has gotten me thru alot of pain and ugliness of the aftermath of an all natural 10% glycolic acid lotion!!!! wasnt even really a peel,I have been dealing with the occasional one or two blemishes since my twenties and now I see how obsessed I was with perfection The lotion litterally burned my skin off and I used 5% first to acclamate my skin to the higher concentrate,I did all this for two unoticable to others scars soooooooooooooooooooooo stupid I broke out bad for at least 4 months only in the areas my skin burned off my chin and cheeks.I am just now getting things under control and its been 6 months, the Dans technique has helped me recover, although I do not Use BP due to its Drying but with my own products and stopped SCRUBBING with microdermabrasion which unknowingly to me was what was making my acne worse duh im so mad at myself for torturing myself. Although Glycolic Acid my benefit some I just want to put it out there how it can affect some of us. Well I had a 5 day vacation and it has helped me focus more on whats important in life my fiance says it was a lesson to be learned that I should not be so vain he is the best he supported me the whole way, I am almost 100% clear mostly red marks, BE GENTLE is my remedy ,I was so rough with my skin and being gentle without harsh ingredients is what is restoring my skin,I will only take the gentle approach for the minor scars left behind,I would love to hear the experience of others using Glycolic Acid so I dont think its only me.I would post pictures of my skin at its worst but i have none I could barelly look in the mirror, but all that has changed
