  1. Instead of starting a new post, I've decided to simply add here since this is where I found all this wonderful information. ________________________________ I think I shall really benefit from this. I'd like to take in roughly as much as the body would naturally produce in ideal conditions from the sun. Though the original poster claims hes found "Your body, assuming you're light skinned, can make ~20,000 IU of vitamin D in a matter of minutes (about 20-35 min) in noontime sun with minimal c
  2. Oh, a just as important question though, whats the best way to take ACV for maximum effectiveness?? - Should I take it with or without food? - Can I take it all at once instead of twice daily?
  3. Thank you! Thats what I figured. I'm only doing ACV for about a week or two anyway. Thanks again.
  4. I can't find the post, I'm going to keep searching. I had never considered it until I read it.
  5. I wish I could find the thread again. I read that drinking ACV within 4 hours of taking fish oil will eliminate any positive effects the fish oil might have. It "burns it up" so to speak. I take fish oil constantly throughout the day and this would make things a little difficult. Any input on this??
  6. You say you took the ACV twice a day, when did you take it? As well do you think you could take all 4 spoons at once and have the same effect?? (I only ask because I take fish oil constantly throughout the day and I now find ACV will cancel out the fish oil if taken within hours of eachother) Anyone else can feel free to chime in as well.
  7. I have been doing a ton of research on the levels of Iodine. Everyone discusses Iodine, kelp, sushi etc constantly, yet rarely anyone makes a comparative statement! What amount is significant!? As I said I eat very healthy so my overall iodine intake must be quite low in general. I have collected some interesting facts I have found. "Some people are very sensitive to iodine. Iodine is an antiseptic and will kill many different bacteria, including the friendly bacteria of the gastrointestina
  8. I went ahead and ordered 1 months worth. Thanks for the help. Yeah, I eat extremely healthy as well, definitely no processed foods. If anyone else has any thoughts on it let me know.
  9. I'm having quite a tough time deciding my new multivitamin. Thus far I have used optimum nutritions "optimen" which seems to be fine. I really don't know if the daily 150mcg of iodine has had an effect on my face since I'm always changing the way I eat and my regimens etc. I'm looking to purchase the popular NOW ADAM, yet I see it contains Iodine(from Kelp) at 225mcg 150%, and at the bottom it shows 45g of Kelp. Now I'm not sure if the kelp is added and reflected in the iodine amount or not bec
  10. I take green tea extract every day for its health benefits. Recently after finishing my previous bottle, I have purchased a different bottle of green tea extract from my local costco. The very first ingredient listed is soybean oil. I only ask this because I always come across tons of threads regarding soy and acne/estrogen etc. I've read up on a lot of them, and I really don't have a strong thought about it. Anyways my question, I will be taking about a gram of this extract every single day.
  11. Thanks for the help! I totally overlooked taking some ibuprofen, I took about 600mg. Other than that I simply put a good amount of BP and covered that with emu oil. + 9 hours of sleep. It has went down a ton and now resembles more of a small scab. Which it pretty much is. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/8671/0322081430cb0.jpg http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/4018/0322081429ef7.jpg Not really sure the fastest way to heal a scab, I'm not sure if I want to keep loading as much BP on it no
  12. So, using a mix of Dan's regimen and a bunch of stuff, I've gotten pretty damn clear. All that remains is red marks and scarring. Yet, for the first time in a week or so, I had a little thing pop up on my jawline. Its one of those not really a pimple, large, hurts, cant really pop red things. Pic:] It doesn't show too much detail but you all get the idea. Unfortunately I have definitely irritated it and its stands out quite well. Theres an absolute ton of different threads talking about
  13. well that was similar to the info I was looking for I meant by activating as in like thats the first step to get ready for the rest. The gritty feeling always felt to me like it was necessary and a "cleanser" first step would involve some kind of scrubbing I guess. well, no more scrubbing for me then!
  14. I have been using proactiv for sooo long. I suppose its just weird for me to switch, but dks cleanser feels as if I am just wiping soap on my face. Yes I know its not soap, yes I know less irritation = better. Yet wouldn't it be beneficial to have at least some texture to it?? I feel as if I'm not really cleaning/activating my skin. I'm half tempted to put in a small amount of my old proactiv in the bottle. If anyone could share their thoughts with me it would be much appreciated!
