  1. you look beautiful. I wish I had some pre accutane pictures but I always hated taking photos when my skin wasn't co-operating.

  2. I used Aveeno Ultra Calming foam cleanser. Whatever cleanser you choose just make sure it doesn't have any acne medications like S. Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide, ect. As for sunblock and moisturizer you can get a two in one. I used Dove Face Care Deep Moisture Facial Lotion. It has an SPF 15 in it. Body lotion... well you're a guy. In shower body lotion is a good option. Lip balm. Go with the Dr. Dan's Cortibalm. Make sure whatever you choose doesn't have menthol. This actually dries out your lips
  3. Before Starting: About 2 months About 4 Months Finish (5 months) First month I was on 40mg. Second month 80mg. Third 80mg then switched to 60mg. Fourth 80mg. Fifth 80mg. I stopped a month early because my triglys were at a whopping 498 up from 98 in the beginning. Not perfect. But better. Update: If you don't clear up totally kiddies don't give up hope. It took me a couple extra months and some high quality vitamins before I finally quit getting the occasional cyst. Now I'm doing grea
  4. My derm told me to take vitamin E. I take 3 x's 200iu (?) If I feel really dry I take four. I bought the cheapest pills at Walmart for under $3.
  5. The same thing happened to me. So what did I do? Waited three years. Big mistake.
  6. I'm just now starting to clear up near the end of month 5. They say some people don't fully clear up until after they're done with accutane. Screw that. I wanted to be one of the lucky ones who clear up month one.
  7. For the first few months we used condoms as well as birth control. Then it went to birth control and pulling out. Now in my last month I'm ashamed to say it's only the birth control. Condoms suck.
  8. What I discovered that works quite well is Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream. Don't be mislead. It's not really a cream. Its like aquaphore. The only thing that might bug some people is that it is pink (doesn't show color on the lips) and has a scent to it. I personally slather the stuff on before I go to bed. And bam. I wake up with semi normal lips. I only use it two or three times a day. It seems to do the trick. You don't have to buy a full size tube. What I did was to go on Ebay and o

  10. We started the same day same dose. I'm not going through much dryness yet either (except my lips)... so hopefully we are both normal!
  11. Day 10 The face... well peeling in certain spots. Like my nose. I mean I could see the sides peeling, but honestly the top? It's weird. Nothing major though. I may quite definately be going through a little loss of apetite, but don't worry I could stand to lose a few pounds. I just realized I only ate one meal today. The lips are annoyingly dry as can be expected. I lost my aquaphor... or left it at home when I came back from college or something. I basically had an emotional break down toda
  12. Day Seven Argghhh the grease. My face is quite red today. But I'm really just avoiding mirrors. It works quite well for denial! I just found out I got the job I interviewed for last weekend! Happiness. I also got $140 for a couple of textbooks!
