My acne is caused by a horrific mixture of "stuff"

BuMp Update: While it may not be the chemicals in the water for some people, it DEFINITELY was for me. I quit using the tap water because I was clearing up, but then when I went to see a derm (finally), I said "What the heck. Go back to tap water. If the meds are supposed to wor, they'll work." Right? WRONG. WRONG. WRONG!!!!!! I switched back for 2 weeks approximately. Not only did I break out, but I feel it is worse than ever because of a possibility of ahn IB from my meds. I had a cyst on m

Now I should say I'm not well versed on the scientific ways that Nickel and other minerals and metals can contaminate water. But what I can say is that, whether it was nickel or something else, NOT washing my face with tap water has helped significantly. I no longer get any more pimples, cysts, nodules, anything. However, my face is still healing from my last catastrophic breakout. Also, my "time of the month" arrived with nothing significant on my face. That's VERY different for my skin. I stil
  3. So if you look at my previous posts, you will see that I have reason to believe my acne is caused by: Dairy Poor-ish diet (like most of my fellow Americans) Hormones Strong products for acne (they actually distress my skin) But a short story: my husband and I were married last February. The ring I bought was electroplated with a precious metal named Rhodium, which gives the appearance of Platinum. After about 5 months, my finger would break out in a painful rash, that progressively got worse.

    Desperate....

I found an even better store near me, Vitamin Shoppe, and they have MyChelle products!!! Ecstatic, I am! Anyways, I use Queen Helene's mask and the Avocado scrub as well, both as of last weekend I never used it as a spot treatment though, I will try that as well Thanks a lot, you've really helped me. A LOT.

And I have found an AWESOME supplement in liquid form. it's packed with great stuff, so hopefully that helps as well.

I just realized what you said about my skin color - thanks I have a sunblock, but it just feels so greasy, so I'll look into the one you wrote on. I found a local health store, and the clerk is ordering me some to their location (100% Emu). I prefer to buy online, but since I’m not home 80% of the time, and I can’t be sure if they’ll send on a weekend, I liked the idea of sending it to the store and picking it up there. Hopefully this works!!! Like I said, the argan oil was good, it just did

i hope you get your acne under control. Your face looks a lot like men (im a guy) and i have similar scarring. I also have scars on the side of my nose, i fucking hate it. Yeah, I think I have excess male hormones and I hate that... That's where my acne stems from I believe. But I refuse to start a birth control or Accutane. I'm not willing to fxck up my elderly years. It really sucks to have to worry about this so much, and others feel none of this pain. Like eat what they want, dri

Thanks Acgerstenberger (that's a hard one! lol)!! I just used the 10% Glycolic Acid Gel last night along with my retinol and put the Acnomel on top and that really helped. I will look into the supplements as well - I had no idea what exactly to get, so your list is great. I have to look for the Acneace - you're the first one to bring that to my attention. Where would I be able to get quality emu oil? I tried argan oil, but that helped very, very little.... I will look into MyChelle as well -

    Desperate....

I want to be a singer, and the ONLY thing holding me back is my fucking acne. I have acne scars (shallow on my cheeks), hyperpigmentation all over, and acne still coming. I turned 23 in July, and am tired of this. My face is holding me back. I have Rihanna's skin color (and she makes me super jealous. Her skin is amazing), and I scar horribly easy. *Sigh* So I just started using Adult Acnomel ( Here on Amazon ) and it's reduced my acne by about 50-60%!!! But 1/2 of the amount of acne I had is

So I've been using Max Clarity since Friday

Yeah, its light on your skin and really quick, which is what I need. The low concentrations (.5% SA; 2.5% BP) help your skin refrain from becoming over-treated, bringing on inflammation/irritation, bringing on more acne. And the 5 and 10% BP always had me inflamed and it helped me scar. :(
  11. Little background: Acne since about 14,mostly forehead mild-moderate; blackheads on nose that never go away. Went to cheeks and chin at about 16, same type. Preg with my 1st son, cleared up!!! Still blackheads. Started breaking out again after a miscarriage, little by little, still cheeks and chin; blackheads. Got preg again 17 months later, moderate-severe acne. Cysts everyday on cheeks, mostly right cheek. Clogged pores under bottom lip, even broke out along jawline which I never had before.

    So this is my face...

I have a little bit more hyperpigmentation than you do, and I know how it feels! I am married, but I feel as if I'm not all that I can be for my husband - who wants a wife that looks like this!?!? He loves me unconditionally, but at 22 I want skin that is free of acne like everybody else I come in contact with. What I have tried: ProActiv - too harsh for my sensitive skin AcneFree - did NADA Nature's Cure - not to much either Removed cow from my diet (dairy & a lot of beef) - still breaking
