  1. heya, are you clear now? if not maybe try azelaic acid since you have fair skin and have trouble with BP. Azelaic acid

Azelaic acid is often used as an alternative treatment for acne if the side effects of benzoyl peroxide or topical retinoids are particularly irritating or painful.

  2. You could try putting sock or oven-mitts on your hands at night. They say it helps kids not scratch chickenpox at night, it might work for you too.
  3. Indeed, hot water will cause more inflamation in your skin and will make your acne appear worse. I usually wash with warm water to open my pores and clear away oil and dirt. Then after rinsing I splash cold water on my face to close my pores. Don't forget to moisturize after
  4. In a word? Yes But it hurts and it will feel like a sunburn for awhile. It also won't last forever.
  5. I don't think duct tape would work. You add water to the strips and it makes like a glue... but the glue on the tape isn't that watery?
  6. I use cetaphil SPF 15, but I stopped using my retin-a-micro, I just couldn't take the dryness anymore.
  7. I was just thinking, we all need to band together and start a new fad. How about red face makeup. That way NO ONE would know if we had red marks!
  8. This is a little off topic, but my mother had terrible problems with kidney stones. Well, her Doctor finally figured out it was because she put milk in her hot tea. He said there is something about tea and makes the calcium in the milk salidify and that's what was building into a kidney stone. If you start getting them, drop the milk from you tea.
  9. I have a 3 step cure for you 1. Electrolites (because it's easy to be dehydrated) 2. Vit C (body uses to build new and healthy cells) 3. Hot totti (warmed whiskey, honey, lemon juice)
  10. No, your body needs to fiber found in fruit and veg. too. I'm not understanding what you DO eat then, if you don't eat fruit and veg? Meat and grains? That can't be good for you. It takes about 8 weeks to change your tastes towards a new food, that's what the experts recommend. I guarantee if you start eating fruits and veg, just force yourself too, after 8 weeks you will like the taste. I find that if I go too long without eatting enough I start to feel really gross and tired. The best I
  11. I don't know, I've never used Aveda. I would think you would want your prescription on last so I wouldn't be diluted, but that I'm not sure of. You could just try your Aveda out and see which works best, unfortunally most of this stuff is just trial and error
  12. You could try icing it. Also, what type of products are you currently using, if any?
  13. Looking at your picture and seeing it under you nose and so close around your mouth and the fact that you said you can't get rid of it... Have you checked with your Doctor to make sure it isn't a staph. infection? Staphylococcus aureus lives in the skin and in the mucus membranes. I wonder because my infant daughter had what looked like whiteheads under her nose and around her mouth. It was a Staph infection from her nose. I don't see in your post where you have tried antibiotics, so it cou
  14. Not from one application. I have to use it on my face sometimes, because of my a-topic dermititus. You don't want to use it on your face very much, because that skin is thin already and corticosteroids will thin it further, but once or twice is ok.
